CHAPTER 31

"This room must be the laundry."

H - "Hey boy, we're here what are we gonna do now?."

K - "You guys in the laundry room?."

H - "Yeah we're here. What now?."

K - "Look for a wall in the right you can find a door there. That door will lead you to the circuit room."

"I think I see it." I said to them while looking at the metallic door that they were talking about.

K - "That's it."

Nervous feeling went down to it's last chill. Thinking of a specific goal to reach, I opened the door leading to the circuit room.

"This is it."

Inside the room was so dark, it was filled with lots of valve, pipings and circuit boards. There were a lot of boxes and the temperature was a bit hotter than the normal room temperature.

H - "This is it."

"Wow Meldy was awfully quiet right now." I said to them.

K - "Don't mind her she's fine. Find the circuit board in the middle part, the one with a cyan painted metal cover."

"Okay."

"Okay we found it."

K - "You foolish animals."

"What? What are you talking about?." I asked.

K - "Am I gonna repeat what I've said? I said you guys are bunch fools, diving the pool without enough gear to float."

H - "Hey, what the hell is wrong with you?."

K - "My brother will now take care of you now."

H - "What?."

With a warning from the air and the surrounding, we felt a strong intimidating aura from our back. With the cloak of darkness guiding the whole room, a strong swift solid kick went on our necks.

Everything happened so fast, we just felt a loud thud and pain in our neck and then everything went black...

When we woke up, Hiroshi and I were tied in a chair somewhere in a dark room with only 1 light bulb shining through.

"Do you really think that a random stranger kid will know the whole secret and hides of the mansion? How foolish. The only way to learn the secrets of this house is to live here and be part of the family. Even the guards are not aware that a secret underground tunnel was made inside the house, what made you think that a kid will know the secrets of the house?." an unknown man said infront of us.

"Kikiri! You damn traitor! Show yourself!." Hiroshi yelled.

"Hiro, we need to warn Meldy." I tried to shake the rope tied in my hand.

"You mean that girl? That gorgeous babe up in the tree?." Kikiri said while revealing himself in front of us.

"Fuck you! You damn traitor, we trusted you." Hiroshi yelled again.

"It's your fault for trusting me." Kikiri replied.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?." I asked.

"Ok let me introduce myself again, my name is Kikiri Johanne Elibuende, The youngest among the Elibuende siblings and part of the Special force unit."

"I thought there's only 4? Are you joking? What kind of wisecrack is this?."

"I am not, the reason why father and the powerhouse officials never mentioned me as part of the siblings was because I am part of a special unit. I'm a spy, I pretend to be unknown in the public, but the reason for that was to my protect thy father. In order to keep him safe from any kind of threats, I'm in charge in finding and punishing traitors." He explained.

"You dirty bastard, how about the massacre of the powerhouse officials?when you mentioned them one by one to us, the next day all of them were dead, are all of the news we heard false?." I asked.

"Nope, unfortunately it was true that they were massacred and I know the culprit, it's just that it's a formidable villain to face. But in order to set an example for the possible traitors, we will make you the culprit in front of the crowd."

"You're also a traitor! You killed Don Simon in the mine!." Hiroshi yelled.

"Nope I didn't, the one you buried was not him, I just replaced it with another body in order to fool you. Don Simon is safe and alive, and soon he will witness your execution next week."

"Execution?." I asked.

"Yep yep, Death by beheading."

"Where's Meldy!." I yelled in fright.

"We kept her in a different cell, but soon she will join you don't worry. You will die together rejoice." he said while laughing.

"Imma kill you!."

"Anyway, my brother wants to meet you,"

"Oh brother pls step out of the darkness and meet my prey."

"Everyone this is Don Monico, my favorite brother of all, my source of strength and most especially the one who kicked both of you out in the Control panel room." Kikiri said.

"Hello everyone, are you guys excited for next week's execution?," Don Monico said while revealing himself.

"In case you don't know, my name is Monico, I don't want to introduce myself too much but I hope you will enjoy the taste of punishment for the traitors." He said to us.

"I did good right brother?." Kikiri asked.

"Yes, my dear brother, as always the sacrifices that you made are worth it. Thank you for catching all these rats in this town."

"It's my duty to protect you brother and father, even if I will sacrifice my social life."

"For sure Father would be proud if he will hear about your achievements."

"I hope."

"As for you both, thanks for feeding yourselves to me. You guys were very very easy targets." Kikiri said to us with a smirk on his disgusting face.
