CHAPTER 45

"Damn, she could have sniped Don Felipe to death. What the hell is she thinking?!."

"Calm down, we still don't know the reason why she did that. Don't worry, we will kill Don Felipe, just please don't spill your patience."

"Because of what she did, the party was in chaos, giving me the chance to help you escape." Meldy said.

"I'm fine with me being a captive, as long as she will eliminate Don Felipe. I don't care about me being tied to a cross, as long as she will take out that fucking Don." Hiroshi explained.

"Calm down bro, I understand that you want to eliminate Don Felipe as soon as possible, but due to the tight security and Kikiri's strategic planning it's not that easy as you think." I explained.

"I know! You don't have to tell me. I'm just saying that I could have done better."

"That's why I'm telling you to calm down. The chances of taking Don Felipe out will be as thin as a feather if you will emphasize you frustation and anger. Stay focused move on." I said to him.

"Shut up will you, I'm concentrating!." He replied with attitude.

"Calm down everyone, let's not fight with each other." Meldy tried to calm us down.

"Sorry." I apologized immediately.

"Alice, she deserve better than death. She didn't have to die, she's not even a criminal. It's my fault, I gave her that necklace, it's my fault she died." Hiroshi then cried.

Tears fell down from his cheeks. Meldy tapped her back to comfort him. I, on the other hand was not able to do anything. It felt awkward in that moment, but I understand that he was frustrated because of a reason.
I knew he was frustrated because I wasn't able to execute Don Felipe, and I knew he was frustrated that Don Felipe got away.

He was probably in pain and regret. I can't really blame him for being angry like that. Hiroshi probably had special feelings for her that I can't possibly explain. We only met Alice for a short period of time, but for Hiroshi, it was enough to make him smile. He was probably inlove with her, and he was probably planning to take her on our journey. Don Felipe, ruined everything that he was hoping for.

Can't really blame an inlove person they say, you can't really blame if that person will do anything for love. We are not him/her and she/he is not us. If he really felt something, then who am i to Judge?. She was probably his source of strength, but the demon took her away. Now, who's to blame?.
Atleast for me, it's not him.

"Don't worry buddy, we will not stop until we kill that son of a bitch." I said to him.

He then smiled, even with tears, he even managed to smile.

"Yeah, we will." He replied.

After that, everything became emotional from there on. It was my first time seeing Hiroshi crying as crazy. He was brave as always, he doesn't want to show his tears to us. Yeah he's courageous, but he's also a man, a person, a living thing capable of producing tears.

Every man needs to cry, it doesn't make you less of a man if you did. Crying is natural, being sad is natural, being happy is natural. We will eventually cry as long as we produce tears in our body, we will cry as long as we have sadness and sorrow imbedded in our hearts. The only time where we can cry no more is when we are no longer alive.

"Guys, did you feel something strange?." Meldy asked out of nowhere.

"What is it?." I responded.

"Nothing, I can't really explain what is missing." She said.

"Missing?." Hiroshi asked while wiping the tears in his face.

"Yeah, something is missing in this assassination I don't know what it is."

"Your underwear?."

"Dumbass that's not it."

"What I mean is that there's something wrong with the party, like something's missing." She explained.

"You need to calm down too hahahaha." I laughed.

"No seriously something's missing."

"So what's the plan now?." I asked.

"Let's regroup with the Occisor first before we plan our next assassination." Meldy explained.

"But we have no idea about her whereabouts." I replied.

"Let's go back to the mansion, but this we will not attack but to spy and observe on what's happening there right now."

"We're already on the blacklist, if someone will spot us, they will report us since the crowd recognized our faces." I explained.

"Then we will put mask in our faces."

"Damn, the whole place was in chaos." Meldy said while scouting from the bushes.

"YOU DAMN FAILURE! HOW COULD YOU NOT REALIZE THAT THE REBELS ESCAPED?!." one of the head guard scolded his underlings.

"Sir, we are trying to pin the rebels, but it was way too dark, so we didn't realize right away." one of the underlings tried to reason out.

"You guys are useless, we need to rectify your mistakes later, for now find the rebels everwhere! Find them in the jungle, outside the mansion!." The head ordered his men.

"Yes sir!."

"I need 30 men here in the mansion, the other will escort the frightened guests to their home! Move! move!. "

"So what's the plan now? Sooner or later the tracking team will find us if we will stay here." I asked.

"See that?." Meldy pointed towards a barn inside the Elibuende property in the south beside the crop field.

"Where?." Hiroshi asked while coping up with the dark.

"That, behind the mansion on the end is a barn."
