Eclipse - arranged marriage Jaebum

eclipse part 33

I headed to downstairs as soon as I woke up. I need to find Jaebum and clear the misunderstand before things get worsen.
I expected to see him in living room with his usual coffee but I furrow my eyebrows seeing the empty couch. did he leave already but it’s still early.
‘aunt have you seeing Jaebum ‘ I asked as soon as I spot the lady . I can tell that she is surprise with my lack of manners.
‘good morning Mrs.IM, Mr. IM left early in the morning ‘
‘did he leave to the office ‘I asked impatiently
‘I’m not sure Mrs.IM but he left this for you’ my eyes widen when I see what she is holding.
She hands it over to me and I take it with uneasiness. how did he found these.
I open the envelope hurriedly and went through the papers only to find out he did what I feared the most . He sign them . he sign the divorce.
Was it that easy for him to sign it. I was ready to face his wrath again but not this. Didn’t he just said he won’t give it to me no matter what. My stomach twist with uneasiness this can’t be real.
Grabbing my phone I dial his number but it says his phone is switched off. Wasting no time I call his secretary hoping to get an answer .
‘mr.choi , yes it’s yoojin… is jaebum in the office?’ I asked already leaving to grab my wallet so I can leave straight to there only to stop hearing Mr.choi’s response. He asked him to clear all the meetings until he says.
‘then do you know where he went, he didn’t went aboard right?’ I don’t care if I sound crazy.
I sigh in relief when mr. choi said jaebum didn’t book any air tickets  I hang up thanking him .
Where he might be . I said I would explain everything to him and he did this without hearing me first. It’s not like I have signed them. Taking a seat on the bed, I stare at the papers with a blank face. I should be worry about lots of things but at the movement I couldn’t think about anything.
After a good minute I stand up with a sign. I need to know where he is right now . he won’t stay with any of his friends since he prefers to be alone but where.
My gaze shift to the mirror in front of me watching my own reflection until I remember something.
Maybe he went there ? mumbling to myself I quickly dial the number.
‘hello’
‘aunt it’s me yoojin’ I said almost immediately.
‘yoojin dear it’s being a while’
‘yes aunt can I know something’
‘yes, my dear what is it?’
‘did jaebum come home’ 
I cut the call thanking her after I get to hear what I want. I rub my face in my palms. at least now I know where he is . it’s a good thing I get to know

‘You can go back yugyeom thank you’ I said to him getting out of the car and standing in front of the familiar house. His grandparents’ house. I know he is here seeing his car parked outside. i was ready to face him in the morning but now after he willingly gave me the divorce, I’m not sure whether I can face him or not. what if he wants to divorce when he has the chance? What if all the fuss in yesterday is just alcohol talking. Knocking at the door I waited till it open while chewing on to my lips. will he get angry that I came to see him? what if he only wants to be alone for a while. I snap my head when I heard the door door knob twisting. what if he doesn’t want to see me.
‘yoojin’ I physically relax when I see the familiar face of her.
‘aunt hi’ I wrap my arms around her warm body
‘it’s good to see you finally , come inside ‘she said walking inside with me trailing behind. I look around with anxiety. where is he
‘I thought  you would come but you came sooner  than i expect ‘ I snap my head at her. Did he tell her
‘don’t be so surprised jaebum isn’t that hard to read even though he didn’t tell anything I can already tell something happened between you two’ she said seeing my face.
‘don’t think about it now let me bring you something to drink’ she said getting up .
‘aunt is jaebum home’
‘no dear he went outside but he will be back soon don’t worry’
Giving her a small smile I node at her and watch her disappearing in to the kitchen . even though she wasn’t here when I first came, I talk to her after jaebum introduce me to her. He consider her as family since she has taken care of him when he was young .
‘so you want to talk about what happened ‘ she said placing cup of coffee in front of me .
I sigh while taking a sip .
‘it was a misunderstanding and he decided things without hearing me first ……. he even drove all the way here so I think he doesn’t even  want to see me now … ‘ I said laughing a little trying to  joke about the situation I am in .
‘ yoojin I know jaebum since he was a child , he might act harshly out of anger but he regret them later he will listen to you and I am sure if he doesn’t want you to find him he won’t come here he is here because he knew you would find him ‘
I look at her with sad eyes but this isn’t easy like that he sign for a divorce and I fear if it’s not only about he misunderstand me.

Why he isn’t back yet it’s almost evening and he didn’t even come for the lunch.
‘aunt do you know where he went’ I aske her worriedly.
‘no my dear but I know a place where he might be, don’t worry I’m sure he would be back soon.’
‘but it’s being hours …….’ I trail after her . his phone isn’t answering his phone either what if something happened to him.
‘aunt please tell me where he is ‘
‘there is a cottage house he owns he might be there’ my eyes lit up hearing that.
‘where is it how can I go there?’ I ask her hurriedly. but she shakes her head signaling no.
‘you can’t go there alone you will get lost and it’s getting dark why don’t we wait till he back.’
‘aunt what if he decided to stay there please’ I said looking at her with sad eyes.
‘oh dear I know that you want to see him so badly but you can’t go there alone so let me call someone for you’ she said walking outside of the house. I ran upstairs to collect the envelop from my bag.
When I went downstairs again she introduce me to a young man to accompany me .
‘thank you aunt we will be back soon,’ I said ready to leave but she held my hand giving me a soft smile.
‘ I hope everything will be okay with you two again’ I smile back at her  hoping the same.
It’s take only 10 minutes’ walk to the cottage house . seeing the lights are turned on outside of the house my hearts pounded in my chest knowing he is here. Thanking the man and sending him back to the house I stood in front of the front door tightly clutching the envelop. I knock on it and wait for it to open .
I closed my eyes tightly and open them when the door knob twisted. the door opened revealing the familiar orbs to me.
