Eclipse - arranged marriage Jaebum

eclipse part 17

I could tell that something has changed after jaebum's confession that night . Both of us are more civil than before and not to mention jaebum's little attempts to interact with me more. I found it amusing at first seeing him acting like that but then again if he is willing for a change I should give it a try right?.
I was currently sitting at the dining table with my laptop open searching for various sites to find a best match for my internship. I was so into it and didn't 't even see jaebum walking towards me and stood behind me

"what are you doing" comes his deep voice . I let out a surprise yelp. He look at me with amused look.
"nothing much just searching a hospital for my internship " I said nonchalantly .
Hearing that he gave me a look of interest .
"have you found a one "
"mmm not yet i'm still looking" I said
"here let me help" he said leaning down and taking the mouse from my hand . I froze and keep my eyes glue to the screen . I can feel the warmth radiating from him making me want to lean back . I look at his delicate fingers typing on keyboard .
"there how about this " his voice break my trance and i look back at the screen .
"HANYANG HOSPITAL No way " I scream at the screen.
"why not" he asked confused by my outburst .
"well to matter of fact it's among the best ones in this whole country and they only accept few students which have highest grades in their university and I'm not one of them so no "
"oh wow soo is that means you are not a top student in your uni" he said and it's hard to ignore the tease in his tone
"jaebum i'm serious " i said giving him a side glance
"relax just apply for this " he said pointing the screen
"no seriously we can only apply for one so i'm not gonna waste my chance"
I said reaching to close the page but his hand hold mine from moving
"Do as I aid just apply trust me on this " he said looking at me with a serious yet gentle expression . I look at his eyes looking for a hint of tease but no they only held sincerity . He pass me a small smile which unconscious draw a similar one in mine. Since when do I find him this attractive .

It was already Monday and I drag my lazy body out of the bed to get ready . I walk down the stairs hurriedly and went to front door even with out having breakfasts . Well i woke up late so no time to eat but a voice beat me to it
"where are you going hurriedly " i look back to see jaebum sitting on the couch having his morning coffee . Why he hasn't left yet
"to the university of course " i said while opening the door
"wait wait hey " i heard he called after me
"no time to chat jaebum I'm already late"
"I know I know but have your breakfast first" okay he is annoying me
"I will have it on the way "i said tapping my foot
He let out a sigh
"have some quickly I will drive you there" I look at him surprised . Well that's new
"oh okay then" I said placing my bag and walking to the kitchen to grab something to eat.
It's only take 10 minutes drive to my uni
"you know you can always ask me to drive you there you don't have to take the bus" he said
"well i didn't want to bother you and you usually leave to the company before me so yeah"
He didn't said anything just nod at my reply .
"you can drop me there" I said pointing at the sideway
"why there I will drop you at uni" he said glancing at me
Clutching my bag tightly I get ready to get off as soon as he stop the car.
"here we are" he said with a smile
"oh okay thank you bye" I said unbuckling the belt .
"what's the matter" he said confused
"oh nothing i'm late that's all" I said getting out of the car and quickly running inside . Well I still have couple of minutes left it's all because of the stares I received . I'm not a famous student in the uni and most importantly no one knew that I'm married now which I like to keep it that way.I can still remember the last time he came to pick me.
It was surprised to find out when my internship at hanyang get approved from both sides . I smile at to the letter remembering the conversation I had with jaebum few days ago he wasn't teasing me back then .

(So I read this chap and found some errors mostly from the POV . I had keep switching from you to and I, I fixed most of them . I apologize if you get confused while reading the story and for any grammatical errors . 😣 )
