chapter 52

scarlet's pov: 

"i can't believe you're getting married in less than a week and we still haven't found a dress yet " donna whined for the thousand time today  as we walked towards the store with three men in black suits behind us

"i already told you, that kristian said that the shop we are going to right now well defiantly have dresses for both us ready so stop panicking. I am the one who should be panicking and as my maid of honor you should be calming me down " I said with a sigh  

"anyway , what's with the extra bodyguards ? is something going on ?"  i looked behind me to see the three men keep a safe distance from us but still be close enough in case of an emergency 

"no nothing, it's just kristian is being extra carful lately , that's all . oh this is the store that kristian told me about..." right as we reached the door , two women in black and white work dresses came forward and opened the door for us and behind him stood and elderly woman in elegant dress and a shawl , on her face was a big elegant , kind smile 

"you must be Miss Kristof soon-to-be knight ?"

" uhm, yes that's me !" i said with a small smile as i nodded my head for the woman 

"oh i apologize for my horrible hospitality, please come in " the woman said as she gestured for me to follow behind her , me and donna exchanged some looks before we walked in escorted by the girls and the woman 

 "my name is Leonila brown , i am more than honoured to be able help you find your dresses ladies " the elderly woman said as she opened another door in the huge elegant store , the store was full of white dresses everywhere    "please take a seat and tell me what kind of a dress are you looking for and i shall see what i can find for you "

"thank you madam brown and please call me scarlet , and this here is my maid of honor"

"it's a pleasure meeting you ladies , these two girls will be helping you today , there names are Claudia and Lara . now how about we start trying some dresses on , is there something special on your mind scarlet ?"  i nodded my head with a smile as i took my phone out of my pocket and showed her the dress that i liked , after a lot of time i was finally able to find a dress that i had fallen for , it was simple yet elegant and it made me feel like a bride , next it was donna's dress which surprisingly  didn't take a lot of time , we bid Leonila goodbye and left the store with two dresses already in the car , it was 3 pm and i was starving so we decided to go have lunch with ben at our usual place , before i rode the car i stood on the side walk to write  kristian a message telling him what i am doing but right as i was about to put my phone in the bag , a tall woman hit me with force across the shoulder as she passed by me almost making me fall on the ground 

"hey , watch were you're going " donna screamed at her as she helped me stabilize my standing , but after a second i realised something , the woman had slipped me a note into my jacket , i looked at Colin and screamed 

"catch her !!!"   wasting no time Colin sprinted into the crowds looking for the woman who slipped me the paper , donna was looking at me confusingly 

"miss please get in the car , it's dangerous her ." one of the bodyguards said as he stood beside me and took a protective stance over me , i nodded my head at him and pulled donna with me inside the car 

"scar, what's going on ?" donna asked with confusion written all over her face 

"let's wait for Collin to come back and then i will explain " i said as i took my phone out of and started calling kristian , as i waited for kristian to pick up i opened the slip and found a different message on it this time , i felt my body shiver as i read the words on it
