"What do you think of this Jimin?" His mother asked holding up a Christmas bag.

"I like it."

"That's what you've said about all of the ones I've showed you. I want to make a good impression with your fathers boss."

"I like them all."

She sighed putting the bag down and picking a totally different one. Then, she turned to look at him with a frown plastered on her face.

"How many times have I told you that your shirt needs to be tucked in? You need to make a good impression as well "

Jimin nodded re-tucking his shirt. The whole time he looked down at his shoes. "Mom, I told you I don't have to go. I have plans."

"Really? With your girlfriend who we haven't met?"

"She's..." she walked away mid sentence. Kind of the way, she turned her back on him when he tried to explain to her it was "not a phase".

Jimin nibbled the bottom of his lip staring at the overly due Christmas decorations. The first person that crossed his mind was Hoseok.

It was his favorite season.

He reached over to pick up a small Christmas tree. Hoseok's face was vividly painted in his mind. The way his eyes sparkled as the lights shined on his face was a absolutely breathtaking.

"You're my favorite present Park Jimin." He had said with his hands tightly wrapped around his waist.

"And you're mine too." Jimin had told him messily plastering his face with wet kisses.

"Are you going to buy it?"

Jimin looked to his right to see Jihyo standing there with a big grin. What were the odds of her showing up?

"Oh, no. I don't...I don't really like Christmas anymore."

"What? Don't be a grinch!" She giggled wrapping her arms around him. "How are you? What have you done during your school break?"

Jihyo would be lying if she said that her heart wasn't beating out of her chest. To feel him this close once again was painful yet sadistically satisfying.

"I've been better. The Holidays are always hard for me. I haven't done much except work. What about you?" He wondered resting his head against hers.

"I'm sorry. You can talk to me about it if you want. I have been working as well. There is a party tonight. It's over at Jisoo's. Are you going?"

"You know the answer to that." He chuckled.

"Of course. Should've known." She responded poking his side.

"Jimin! Is this Jihyo?" His mother exclaimed.

They both pulled away from each other very startled. Jimin's face instantly grew a shade of red and his heart was at his throat.

If Jihyo said they weren't dating, then he would never hear the end of this. Why was it so hard to be accepted the way he was?

"Oh! Hey!" She bowed sweetly, "Actually—"

"Jimin has told me all about you. To be honest I was staring to worry he was never going to get a girlfriend. He's too focused on school and we've never met one of his lovers." She laughed shooting him a look.

He felt the sweat forming underneath his arms as he attempted to stabilize his breathing. Jihyo noticed how uncomfortable he was.

"Why don't you bring her to the dinner with us?"
