I Understand Your Pain...

Anubis P.O.V

Anon:"uh...Anubis, don't you think it's a little weird for me to sleep in the same bed as you, considering we just met today and...well... you're naked?"
Anonymous asked as you look at your nude body before looking back towards him,

Anubis:"yes, I suppose it would be rather off wouldn't it, leave me then." You responded with a small sigh,
Anonymous looked like he wanted to say something but before he could you roll over onto your side facing away from him.
Anon sighs to himself as he closes the bedroom door.

A couple of hours later you roll back over onto your backside with an audible sigh,
You don't know exactly why you weren't able to sleep, it's just something you haven't been able to do for the past few centuries.

Anubis:"... What was that mortal saying... No rest for the wicked?"
You asked yourself as you got out of Anonymous's bed and went over to the bedroom door,
Once there you open it and walk out into a hallway and eventually the living room where you see Anon sleeping on the couch.
You smile at the adorable human before walking over to him and kneeling down to his level,
Looking at the sleeping human you gently pet the top of his head before letting out a small sigh,

Anubis:"I'm sorry for the pain you've been in lately Anonymous..."
You quietly whisper to yourself in hopes of not waking him up,

Anubis:"I understand your pain Anonymous....all too well..."
You said with a saddened tone before leaning over kissing his forehead before standing up to your full height,
You let out yet another sigh before curiously looking over to a glass door that led out to a balcony,
After a moment you walk towards the sliding glass door and open it before stepping out onto the balcony to take in the amazing view of the cityscape.

Anubis:"my... This world certainly has changed hasn't it?"
You asked yourself curiously while leaning onto the balcony and looking at the city with pure utmost fascination.

You don't know how long you were staring at the sights of the city, all you knew it must have been hours due to the morning sun rising over the horizon,

You look at the rising sun and smile slightly to yourself before standing straight up,
As you do you suddenly get an idea,

Anubis:"hmm, it seems it might be a lovely day today,
perhaps I could get Anonymous to show me around this new world."
You said to yourself with a smile,
Curious as to what might be waiting for you in this new world.
