*Loki's POV*

"Peter you're not seriously gonna do this are you?" I pleaded with him one last time as he was pulling on his suit. "Loki, this is my chance so you can either support me in this or get out of my way." he said while pushing me out of the doorway. "Alright, sit back and relax the show is about to start." Peter smiled at Tony, pulled on his mask and swung out the window. I felt an eerie feeling begin to sink in. I looked over to Tony who was intensely watching Peter climb up the building across from our window. "Why are you here?" I asked. Tony maintaining his ever so watchful glare answered in a cool tone "I'm waiting for my moment." His answer, and the way his eyes never shifted from Peter, left me shaking to my core. "Your moment to what?" As I finished my sentence Peter reached the top of the building, and Tony turned to face me for the first time and smiled, "To kill the monster." Odin. Before I could get a word out I felt a sharp pain pierce my lower abdomen. I'd been stabbed. I must have blacked out because the next I remember I was in a holding cell on Asgard. On the other side Odin and Thor discussed my soon to be execution. When they noticed I was waking they suddenly hushed and moved elsewhere. I must have been alone for hours until I could hear a shuffling just out of eye sight.

"Thor?" No answer "Odin?" Once again nothing but silence "Have you come for my execution?" The silence was deafening "Please, I beg you. Just tell my mother, brother, and Peter that I'm sorry. That I love them. And tell your King Odin he can rot in HELL!" I yelled slamming my fist to the barrier. "Oh Loki..." I heard the soft soothing tone that could only be one person. "Mother?" She stepped into the light, pain and empathy etched into her face. "Loki I'm so sorry. I tried talking to your father but-" "He is no father of mine." I said feeling hatred spit the words out. "Then am I not your mother?" Her words melted the ice Odin placed within me, "Of course you are. I'm sorry, why have you come?" Tears formed at her eyes and she placed her hand up to the barrier. "To get one last look at my baby boy. Heimdall is to chain you in the morning where you will suffer for all existence with the drip of a snake's venom. I'm sorry." with that she left. I stumbled back and collapsed to the floor. Not five minutes later I heard footsteps once more. This time they were louder, heavier set, more confident. "Thor, I know that's you. Would you like to come out and say hello?" As he approached I felt myself shy away because this was not the brother I knew and loved, this was a being of pure hatred angled at me. "WHY?" He shouted banging the walls, "WHY DID YOU KILL MY BROTHER AND ASSUME HIS FORM? WAS IT FOR INFILTRATION? REVENGE? OR WORSE DID THIS PLEASURE YOU?" In all my years I had never seen Thor so angry. "Thor you have to listen to me, I'm not what you think." I began talking slow, hands in the air approaching the wall trying to seem as unthreatening as possible. I reached up and placed my hands against the barrier. "It's me, your brother. Odin is evil, he is the true monster." I continued. "LIES! HE IS MY FATHER!" Thor yelled slamming the wall so hard it sent me falling back knocking my wound against a table. I winced and laughed to myself. "Do you find this amusing?" Thor's expression, one of confusion and anger. "No, no not at all just now that I'm on the receiving end of a stab. I'm thinking back to all those times I stabbed you then called you a cry baby afterwards for complaining to Odin." I said reminiscing over our past, all the while feeling the very urgent pains of the present. "What?" Thor asked, trying to comprehend what I was saying. "Yeah, you know like that time I turned into a snake and stab surprised you or when I'd jump you in the halls and stab you, of course I used smaller knives than the one that did this but still all this time I thought of them as harmless little pranks." I explained pointing to the blood seeping through my shirt. There was a second where he contemplated the possibility I was actually his brother, but alas it is easier to believe in monsters than accept one's own failings, "You're getting what you deserve monster. Goodbye for good."

No one else came that night. Early the next morning I could hear Hiemdall and Odin approaching and I knew it was time. "Oh my, the king! WHAT AN HONOR! To what do I owe the pleasure?" I said bowing with fake gratitude, "And his little pet! How cute! Tell me Heimdall what's the word within the realms? As Peter would put it, what's the tea?" Heimdall stood there silently, pity in his eyes. He knew the truth and yet played as Odin's puppet. Odin opened the doors and stepped up to me. "Aw, coming in for a hug daddy-o" I opened my arms, and in turn received a punch to the face. "Listen to me boy, you can be a sarcastic ass all you want. It won't change a thing, I'm gonna make your life a living hell." Standing up I leveled, or leveled as much as I could in my midgardian form, to the king of gods and said " And you listen here old man, you can beat me, cut me, and torture me all you want but it won't change a thing. I've experienced true happiness and love, and there's nothing you can do about that." I spit in his face. Odin stood tall, wiped his face, and gestured for Heimdall to grab me. "We'll see about that, Peter you say? I think it's about time I pay this boy a visit." Odin smiled as Heimdall dragged me off, and it felt as if I had died a hundred times. "DON'T YOU TOUCH A HAIR ON HIS HEAD!" I yelled fighting, but it was hopeless. Odin had already left.
