Chapter 9

On the wedding itself, you could hear the sobs of many and well, just people who were happy that the couple reunited. Jungeun wasn't a bad person, but Jinsoul and Sooyoung just felt right for each other. Sooyoung was standing at the front, it was an outdoor wedding. They didn't invite many people because they felt like this was more personal to them and non important people need not be invited. So, Sooyoung in a suit with her freshly cut short hair, was waiting in the front for her fiancee, soon to be wife. Jinsoul's mother helped walk Jinsoul down the aisle. At the sight of the beautiful girl in front of her eyes, the girl who was just a few steps away, Sooyoung couldn't help but be overwhelmed by emotions. When Mrs Jung had handed her daughter to Sooyoung, Sooyoung felt that, it was too good to be true, to be marrying the love of her life, it feels so surreal. So when she examined Jinsoul's simple dress that was slightly longer than knee length and the little crown of flowers on her head, her heart couldn't help but flutter yet again. When the officiate asked them to exchange vows, Sooyoung went first.

" Dear Jinsoul, in the whole entire world, you're the most important person for me. You've watched me grow, you've been there since the very beginning and you never gave up on me even though I was a mess, you still believed in us. So, this is my promise to you, that I will cherish you for the rest of my life, to be by your side in times of trouble and be it our financial problems or health problems, I promise to be there for you, always. Because a world without you, would be as good as not living. So, I, Ha Sooyoung, will take you, Jung Jinsoul, soon to be Ha Jinsoul, my lawfully wedded wife. "

When it came to Jinsoul's turn, she broke down, but the grip on Jinsoul's hand never left, in fact, Sooyoung would squeeze the latter's hand every so often to tell her that it's okay and she could just take her time. When Jinsoul had finally calmed down, she looked her lover in the eye and spoke what her heart was telling her to say.

" Sooyoung, I want to shout out to the world that you're mine, and you are. I'm so blessed to be able to be married to you. That past few months didn't go to waste if I knew that I would be standing here, exchanging vows with you. Thank you, thank you for coming back to me. To death do us part, I'll be here, for you to be your support in any type of way. I love you Sooyoung and there is nowhere else I would rather be, if it's not with you. So, I say I do, Sooyoung, I do. "

The officiate smiled and asked for the ring bearer to step forward. When the little girl walked down, all eyes turned to the cute little human being. She passed the rings to Jinsoul and Sooyoung as they held the ring in the hand before helping each other exchange rings, putting it proudly on the ring finger of their lover. They looked up and smiled. Then the officiate began to read out the vows.

" Haha, sorry Jinsoul, I need to read the vows before you say I do. So do you, Miss Jung Jinsoul, take Miss Ha Sooyoung to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part ? "

" Yes, I do. "

" And do you, Miss Ha Sooyoung, take Miss Jung Jinsoul to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part ? "

" I absolutely do. "

" So now that I have solemnised the vows, you may kiss the bride. "

Sooyoung immediately grabbed Jinsoul lifted her and turned her around before her lips found her way to Jinsoul's. This was the moment that the both of them had waited for, for so long, too long. Jungeun, who was invited, smiled to herself. Seeing the university sweethearts reconciled and getting married to each other was like everything she had seen in the movies. She was in a blazer, a casual t-shirt and long pants for the event. She was about to congratulate the two by walking to the photo booth but bumped into someone. With her fast reflexes however, she held onto the lady.

" I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking. "

" It's fine, I wasn't looking either. "

" Wow... "

" Sorry ? "

" I just wanted to say that, you're really beautiful. "

" Thank you. You're not so bad yourself too. "

" So, you here for the wedding ? "

" No, I'm actually working as the coordinator for the wedding. "

" So what do you actually do ? "

" Well, I collaborate with the vendor and I manage how the guest would like things to be in place and after that, I will ask the hotel staff to help out if they need more manpower. "

" Sounds like a high position. I'm Jungeun by the way. "

" I'm Jiwoo, but you can call me Chuu for short, it's just a nickname. "

" Alright cutie, here's my name card. Call me. "

Sorry for the late update but the book has ended, but I will be doing an alternative ending because this wasn't how the book was supposed to end. It was supposed to be more hectic and chaotic. I will be editing this whole book because I think some links are just missing but thank you for supporting me through this mini series.
