Chapter 6

After that conversation, Sooyoung had started taking more breaks, to figure out what she wants to do in life, and what she's going to do about the ring. The only information she has of Jinsoul's is her mother's home so she drove there. She didn't know what she was doing, and maybe she was being a little reckless, but she knew this was what her heart wanted. She parked outside of Mrs Jungs house and walked outside of the door. When she knocked on the door and it opened, Mrs Jung was shocked to see Jinsoul's ex appear at her doorstep.

" Mrs Jung, hi. Is Jinsoul here ? "

" No honey, she isn't. Would you like to come in ? "

" I would love to, but there's something important I need to pass to Jinsoul. "

" Alright honey, visit me another day, this is Jinsoul's new apartment. "

" Thank you. "

So after receiving the new information, Sooyoung heads over to the address. Fortunately for Sooyoung, there aren't any fans right now so all Sooyoung had to do was pass security and not get caught by Jinsoul's fans' cameras in case something sparks on the headlines again. However, just as she was about to knock on Jinsoul's apartment, security wouldn't believe that Sooyoung and Jinsoul had met even after showing countless of photos that security thought Sooyoung had photoshopped. Sooyoung was getting frustrated, she wasn't going to lose to some stupid security. They were about to carry her out of the premises when someone spoke up,

" She's with me. "

Sooyoung turns and sees Jinsoul. Before Jinsoul could even greet her properly, Sooyoung had already ran into her arms. Security was about to pry them apart, but no one was around because they were at Jinsoul's lift lobby located beside her apartment so Jinsoul told them to back off as she opened and let Sooyoung come in.

" What brings you here Miss Ha ? "

" Don't be so formal with me Jinsoul. "

" I'm just kidding, water ? "

" No thanks. Please sit down, I have something really important to tell you. "

" Okay, oh yeah, by the way congratulations on getting married- "

" That's what I came to talk to you about. I'm not getting married, we called it off. "

Jinsoul was seemingly confused at the piece of information. Shaking her head in disbelief, she throws Sooyoung some questions to answer.

" What do you mean called it off ? How did this happen ? "

" Before I tell you everything, look at my finger, specifically, my ring finger. "

And so Jinsoul did as she was told. She saw that her finger still had a ring, but it looked oddly familiar. And then it struck her. Hands went straight to her mouth to cover mouth, she was baffled, she found it ridiculous, too good to be true.

" What are you doing Sooyoung ?  "

" Jinsoul, I've realise, after a really long time, that it has never been Jungeun, it's always been you. I love you Jinsoul, so much, and I regretted walking away from you, every single time, I regret it. Because you are my whole world, you are like the moon and sun, my source of light anywhere I was. You were never once selfish, and I was just being irrational and such a insensible person that I- "

Before Sooyoung could even finish her sentence, she was cut off as Jinsoul reached from across the table, she grabbed Sooyoung's face fast and their lips met. It was something they truly missed. And it never stopped, the kiss was long, passionate and hungry. Because they were both longing for so long, so damn long because of a communication break down, because they didn't know how to save their relationship when they still loved and valued each other so deeply. The kiss may look like some typical korean drama scenes, but to the couple who were separated, to the couple who understood each other inside and out, it had more meaning than it just being a kiss.

" I never stopped loving you, you know that ? "

" I know, I know that whole album was written about me. "

" Do you know how hard it was to live without you ? I didn't even hook up with any girls, trying to get over you because I still had hope, Sooyoung. You taught me what is love and what it's like to love someone, you were the reason I believed in love, you were the very reason I believed in a soulmate, and I know for a fact that we were meant to be. But you suddenly left me, and I felt really lonely. The only thing that kept me from wanting to quit, was music." 

" I'm sorry Jinsoul, I don't know how to make it up to you, but I know that there isn't anyone else that I want to spend my life with except you. Give us a chance, another chance, give me a chance to prove it to you, I was an idiot- " 

" Sooyoung, stop blaming yourself. Let's go out, again. Let's see how this goes. " 

" I miss you Jinsoul. " 

" I miss you too mi amour. " 

With their foreheads pressed together, they smiled and look at each other, never once breaking eye contact. The media would be something they had to face another day, but right now, they just want to be with each other. And surely as time went, when Sooyoung was with Jungeun, and when Jinsoul was living alone, trying to survive, they never stop loving each other and thinking about how the other one was doing.

Sorry for the late update. I forgot and I was preparing for a presentation but I'm done. I still have work to do but fret not, I will make time to write. I hope everyone had a great weekend. The book is ending soon, so I hope you sit tight. I don't really like to write sad endings so, all my books will have happy endings. Thank you for reading this book, it means a lot to me.
