#04 Love Letter

Chapter 7

It took another round of dates for the two to get together again. It wasn't because they didn't trust each other but they lost a lot of time and they wanted to reconnect and know what happened without each other's presence in life. As much as they tried to keep it a secret, news still got out that choreographer Ha Sooyoung and Youtuber, Song writer, Jung Jinsoul were seen together randomly and often. Jinsoul wanted to help resolve the media coverage by just admitting to the public that Sooyoung and her were an item; however, she wanted to ask for Sooyoung's permission just in case she was not comfortable. Sooyoung gave her the green light because, really, she couldn't care less. Nothing much really changed except that Jinsoul had fans asking if they were an item before and how they met. Jinsoul told them in a video if Sooyoung was comfortable with it, she would be featured in her future video to talk about their relationship.

Once Sooyoung heard about this idea, she was kind of fond of it and agreed. Little did she know that Jinsoul had something up her sleeve.

" Sooyoung, do you want to be featured in my next video ? "

" What will it be about ? "

" About our one year anniversary since we got back together and basically our relationship from the beginning to now. "

" Okay, when will you be filming it ? "

" I'm not sure... I don't think I have enough time to edit the video...."

" Do a live stream then. "

" That's a great suggestion babe. "

" You welcome. "

Sooyoung winked at Jinsoul while Jinsoul walked to Sooyoung who was comfortably seated on the couch and pecked her on the lips. Jinsoul started planning everything so that everything would turn out well with Sooyoung being surprised by the end of the stream.

So four days before Jinsoul had her live stream, she had posted on social media that she will be doing her special live stream with Sooyoung and they had an unexpected overwhelming response from her fans, anticipating this special collab/feature.

On the day itself, Jinsoul had set everything up before inviting Sooyoung into the room and turning on the camera.

" Okay, I'm going live in, 3,2,1. "

" Why aren't you saying anything ? "

" Coz, I needa wait for more people to enter the stream before I greet them. "

" That makes sense. "

" Of course."

" Pft. "

Jinsoul giggled slightly before seeing the number of viewers increasing. When it had reached her expected number of viewers, she formally introduced herself and had Sooyoung introduce herself as well. They wasted no time in doing the Q&A session answering most of their questions of how they met, who confessed to who, what happened across the years. When Jinsoul had seen that the time was right, she started talking about random things before moving on with the real topic.

" So, as a little surprise, I will be singing a snippet of my new song. Yes, it's dedicated to Sooyoung. "

Taken aback by Jinsoul's boldness, Sooyoung just leaned against the wall as Jinsoul played the piano which was accompanied by her melodic singing, like a soft lullaby, soothing to anyone's ears.

Sooyoung had no idea what Jinsoul meant. The lyrics were confusing despite Jinsoul serenading Sooyoung.

" I know, before you get confused, it's a really sad song. A song that I wrote, when you were with someone else. This was written one day before you came and visited me. I felt broken, I didn't know who I was without you anymore. You were the sun to my day, and the moon to my night. You're the air that I breathe and everything more. When you left, all I could think about was you. I wrote every letter, hoping you would write back. But you didn't, instead you responded. And I don't want to waste anymore time. I don't want you to get pressured because this is a live stream, but will you, Ha Sooyoung, the love of my life, my one and only, be my wife, now and always ? "

It didn't even take Sooyoung a second, she just grabbed Jinsoul and pulled her into a kiss. When their lips were detached, Sooyoung had a lot to say.

" I love you Jinsoul. There was never someone else to begin with, and I'm sorry, I'm sorry that you had to wait and cry and feel all these negative emotions. I promise, to never leave you. I wanted to propose to you actually, but, you leave me breathless again. So yes, I will marry you Jung Jinsoul, my everything. "

Jinsoul and Sooyoung smiled at each other, staring into each other's orbits lovingly. When they had ended the live stream, they started trending and news got out that they were engaged. All Jinsoul and Sooyoung had to do was to ask for their parents' blessings once more before officiating it.

Author's note:

So, I did not actually read the english version of Love Letter by LOONA, and it turned out to be really sad so I wanted to use other artist's songs. However, I felt like, it didn't match, hence why I stuck to LOONA's one. Also, this was supposed to be the last chapter, but, it would just be abrupt without a proper ending so... blessing you all with probably 2 more chapters HAHA.
