#04 Love Letter

Chapter 2

Not too far away, in a small quiet and district town, there sat a lady, twiddling her thumbs. She was dressed in a leather jacket, her hair flowed naturally, she looked extra good. She brought her duffel bag along with her as she entered a building with her manager.

As she changed out of her biker fit into her neatly ironed chef uniform. She looked into the mirror before she walked out of the changing room as she entered the set. She greeted the staff warmly as everyone's eyes were on her, everyone turned soft when she made eye contact with them. As she stood in her position, the emcee came shortly. Dressed in a striped blouse and formal pants she greeted the chef.

" Good morning. "

" Good morning Yeeun. "

" Are you ready to start ? "

" Yeap. "

" Okay. "

Yeeun gave a thumbs up before the director and crew started the camera's rolling. He nodded his head before Yeeun took over the show.

" Good morning South Korea, and welcome to the one and only celebrity show where we do weird and unique things never seen before. Today, we have a special guest, not only is she pretty, she also can cook, with a youtube channel that just reached 4 million not too long ago, it's Jung Jinsoul. "

" Thank you for the introduction, I'm humbled. Hi everyone, I am Jung Jinsoul, chef by day, and singer/songwriter by night. "

" So chef, today, we have a special task. You will be cooking using a microwave. Here are some of the ingredients you will have to use and while you prepare, we have come up with questions to let the audience know more about you. "

" Ask away. "

" Okay the first question is, why did you become a chef ? "

" It was something I enjoyed, cooking. It was one of the many to prove my teacher wrong, and to put man in their place, thinking that insulting and throwing f bombs can hurt me, it just disgust me. I was sick of how my teacher saw me, and since I was excelling, I didn't need to worry about him. So the real reason ? Was because I found joy in cooking, and you know, I wanted to inspire people, that no matter how crazy your dreams are, if it's something you want, work for it, ignore the haters, because there will always be someone supporting you. "

" So who was your supporter ? "

" My mother. She never failed to push me to do what I always wanted. I love you mom. "

" Aww that's really sweet. Anyone else ? "

Jinsoul tries to recall, looking up slightly, she thinks really hard, until she remembers one person. She smiled, just a little, a sad one. She contemplates whether she should mention her, or not.

" I have a friend from University, she supported me throughout my whole Uni days, it was tough but we made it, I survived because she was there for me. "

" Sounds like a really important friend to me. "

" Yeah, she is. "

" Have you been in contact with her ? "

" No, we stopped talking gradually. "

" Okay then, for your friend, Jinsoul, can you leave a video message for her ? "

Jinsoul gulped. She closed her eyes for a little while before she started her sentence.

" Hi ! You probably know who you are, I don't know where you are, and how you're doing, but I hope you are happy. Please take care of yourself, you're really skinny and it worries me at times. Thanks for being my pillar of support and my source of strength during my university days, my number hasn't changed, so let me know when you have seen this. "

The show continued with the emcee of the programme asking about how it's like being a songwriter, where does she get her inspiration from and other sorts of questions. When they were done, Jinsoul bowed and thanked every single staff member on the set before she walked out with her manager. When she had sat on the back seat, she dozed off before reaching her apartment.

" Jinsoul, we've reached. "

" Thanks Yubin, you get some rest too. "

" I will, text me if you need anything. "

Jinsoul nodded before she walked into her apartment. She was scrolling through her phone, when she saw some interesting news on Koreaboo.

Jinsoul continued reading the article and before she knew it, she recognise the girl that was holding Sooyoung's hand.

" Jungeun ??? "
