Rex Dies

"Oh my God. Do you guys like my shoes?" Arielle asks walking up to Beck and Jade. "They're so cute. Who bought them for you?" Jade asks as Arielle groans. "Stupid Kyle," she says throwing her head back. "Who?" Beck asks as Arielle stands between him and Jade. "Mom's stupid boyfriend. She made him make friends with us. It was funny," Arielle explains with a smile.

[THAT MORNING WITH KYLE]

Kyle: Your mother and I are in love. I know love is a hard concept for your generation to understand

Alex: You are our generation, Kyle

Arielle: you're an actual kid

Kyle: listen, how about I just take you guys to the mall and we get to know each other

Arielle: are trying to bribe us, Kyle?

Alex: if so, I want new shoes

Arielle: same and you have to buy us tacos too

[NOW]

"We love Kyle now. He's at least better than my father," she smiles. "But a piece of dry lettuce on the sidewalk that's been stepped on by a million people can also be seen as better than my father so that's not exactly the highest of compliments coming from me," she shrugs. "Arielle!" A voice calls as she turns to see André walking into the class with a bottle of whipped cream. "I scored us some whipped cream," he smiles as she pulls him to sit in the back of the class as Tori and Beck start a scene, and the two teens in the back eat whipped cream.

"How are we supposed to focus with her doing that?" Tori asks as the whole class turns to see Arielle licking whipped cream off her fingers. "Arielle stop eating whipped cream and taste this butter I just made," Sikowitz says handing the girl a jar of butter as she removes a box of crackers from her bag. "Do you just carry salty crackers with you?" Jade asks as Arielle nods before scooping some butter on a cracker and popping it into her mouth.

"How does it taste?" Beck asks as she smiles. "Have one," she says and puts one in his mouth. "This is some good butter, Sikowitz," Arielle smiles. "I wouldn't know. I don't eat dairy," he explains as Beck moves to sit with Jade while Arielle and André eat crackers with butter in the back of the class. "The bitches that get it, get it. Those who don't- honestly, poor souls," She explains and she pops a cracker in her mouth. "I think I'm in love," André adds doing the same thing.

"You are weird," Jade says looking over at the two teens who shake their heads at her. "Can you two stop making mouth love to your crackers and pay attention to me. I wanna talk about the one-act play I'm directing," Sikowitz speaks up and Arielle rushes to the front of the class. "I'm playing the lead," she says holding up her hand. "Well, congrats because you, André, and Robbie are staring in it," Sikowitz explains and Arielle nods."Cool mince bro," she says and heads over and throws herself on Jade's lap.

"Jade and Cat will work on lighting," Sikowitz adds as Arielle plays with Jade's hair. "Don't blind me," she says and Jade faces her. "No, I wanted to turn you into Daredevil," Jade says and Beck leans over to cover Arielle's eyes. "Am I a hot superhero?" Arielle asks feeling Jade's face.

[BEFORE THE PLAY]

Arielle stands next to Robbie as the turblow jet blows her hair around. "Why is no one making a video right now? I'm slaying," Arielle smiles as Robbie reaches over to touch her hair.

"I have to get dressed. Keep an eye on Rex," Robbie starts before Arielle grabs the puppet from him and he walks away. "My entire life has led up to this moment," she says placing the puppet down on the table.

"Yeah, just sit there. I have to get my phone so I can make you say vile things," she giggles before rushing away. When she gets back Tori is about to turn the turbo jet on reverse.

"Oh my God," she says and Tori turns it on before it sucks Rex right in.

"Oh my God!" Everyone starts yelling as Arielle blinks at them. "I'm too pretty to be upset about a puppet," she shrugs, and then Robbie walks in. "Where's Rex?" He asks looking around for his puppet who Arielle realizes is also his best friend. "Oh my God. I'm so sorry, Rob. I'm such a yutz," she calls pulling him into a hug.

[AFTER FINDING REX]

"That's a fucking puppet," Arielle whispers to Jade who nods. "I don't want to be a yenta but I never cared for him," she adds as she follows Jade, Beck, Tori, and Cat into the hospital which is where they decided to take the puppet. "Ari!" Everyone but Jade calls. "She makes a fair point," Jade says linking her arm in with Arielle's.

"We could take him to Kyle. He's a doctor, right?" Beck asks as Arielle frowns. "How did you even know that? I didn't even know that," she explains as they start looking for Kyle. "I talk to him sometime," Beck explains before Kyle walks up to them.

"We brought you a patient," Tori hands him the puppet and he does a double-take. "It's a puppet," he blinks at them as if not understanding whatever bullshit they're trying to pull on him.

"We just need you to make it look like you're trying to save his life. A little boy out there is gonna want his toy back and he can't have it back cause I don't like it," Arielle explains. "Why can't the little boy have his puppet?" Kyle asks and Arielle groans.

"Oh my God. Do it and I'll like you," she responds and he nods. "Fair," he shrugs and takes the puppet from Tori. "But I have to go. The play starts," she checks her watch. "Two minutes. I'll just speed," Arielle adds and rushes out of the hospital.

[AFTER PLAY]

Arielle leads André and Robbie into the room with Rex as Robbie gasps at the sight of the puppet hooked up to a machine. "I thought you said it was a little boy," Kyle says looking over at the girl who was now wearing an old-timey-looking dress who just shrugs at him.

"I think we should give them their privacy," she says and gestures at everyone to back out.

"Can't wait for Rex to die," Jade whispers as André frowns.

"What the fuck is happening?" He asks as Arielle smiles at him. "Magic. Also, where's Cat?" She starts looking around and just shrugs.

"I'm gonna go look for her," Arielle explains and rushes to go look for Cat who she finds in a white room. "Cat, get out of here," she rushes into the room and the door shuts behind her.

"Fuck me," she whispers to herself as she sits on the floor with Cat who hits her with the weird soft cube things that are on her hands.
