Tori the Zombie

Arielle sat beside Jade as they watched Robbie, Beck, and Tori's performances, enjoying the show until disco lights unexpectedly flashed around the room.

"What's up with the disco?" Jade asked sharply, eyeing Sinjin.

"I'm sorry, I hit the wrong thing," Sinjin apologized meekly.

"No, 15 years ago, your mother gave birth to the wrong thing," Jade retorted dryly.

"God, you're hot," Arielle remarked, casting a playful glance at Jade.

"Okay, let's take a break. Tori, Beck, you guys were really great. Really nice stuff," the director interjected, addressing the performers.

"Guys, everyone shut up for a second," Jade demanded, focused on her phone.

"What have you got?" Beck inquired, leaning over to see.

"An email from Principal Eiken," Jade announced to the group.

"What does it say?" Tori asked eagerly.

"That you should shut up real quick," Arielle quipped, giving Tori a playful look.

"To all students involved in our school's production of 'Uptown Downtown,' Sofia Michelle will be in Los Angeles the weekend of the 17th and will be personally attending your opening night performance," Jade read aloud.

"I knew I should've tried out for the play. My mom told me to," Arielle mumbled with a frown.

"Who's Sofia Michelle?" Tori asked, puzzled.

"Oh, no, no, no!" Jade exclaimed, grabbing Beck and Arielle by the arms.

"What?" Tori asked, confused.

"She gets to be the lead and she doesn't even know who Sofia Michelle is," Jade complained.

"Wait, isn't she the lady that does those commercials with the vibrating hairbrush?" Tori asked innocently, causing Arielle to laugh so hard she nearly fell off her chair.

"See, your stupidity made Arielle fall off her chair," Jade teased, helping Arielle back up.

"Look at the cover of your script," Robbie interjected, holding out Tori's script.

"Oh, it's Sofia Michelle's play we're doing!" Tori exclaimed happily.

"Really?" Arielle asked sarcastically.

"She's like the biggest playwright on Broadway," Robbie explained patiently.

"Well, I'd love to sit here and hate myself, but I have to go. My mom is getting surgery," Arielle announced, standing up suddenly.

"What?" Tori asked, looking concerned.

"Relax, it's nothing big. Just a nose job," Arielle reassured them before leaning over to kiss Jade and Beck on the cheeks. "Later, people," she called out as she walked out of the room.
