Luna watched as the Millennium Falcon jumped to hyperspace. She had just managed to pull the still cloaked Illusion out of the gravity well of the planet, resisting the want to freeze as she felt Vader's presence run over her again.
He was searching for her. The fact her ship was cloaked made no difference, he knew she was somewhere in the area.
He also knew that she'd have to uncloak the ship before she made the jump to lightspeed.
"Huntress II, we'll meet up at the rendezvous, alright?" Luna asked, speaking into her comm.
"Copy that Illusion. You've got a lot of explaining to do," Ahsoka replied. Luna resisted wincing.
That was going to be a fun conversation.
"Go on, I'm right behind you," Luna told her.
"I don't—"
"I'm the rest of us will get to lightspeed fine, now go," Luna told her. She knew the reason Ahsoka wanted to stick around, to make sure Vader got out of there, but it wouldn't help anyone considering Vader was sticking around as long as Luna and her ships stuck around.
"Copy that. See ya at the rendezvous."
A moment later, the Delta-7 jumped to lightspeed.
TIEs were still swarming everywhere, and they were beginning to close in on Vader's TIE.
Luna watched as the enemy TIEs continued to close in. A computer chirped, signifying that the calculations for the jump to lightspeed had been completed.
Her hand hovered above the hyperspace throttle while her eyes were locked on the TIE Advanced.
That was a lot of TIEs. A whole lot of TIEs.
Luna swore in Huttese as she quickly spun the ship around, racing towards the group.
Only when she was about to ram into the nearest fighters did Luna uncloak her ship, guns blazing into the soundly startled group as the Illusion spun through the thick of them. Most of the enemy TIEs were hit by the blasts or ran into each other. The lucky ones scattered in surprise, racing away from both Luna and Vader.
Luna sensed Vader move so they were flying beside one another as she leveled out her ship.
A light blinked to life on a consol, indicating an incoming hail.
Luna was in hyperspace before she could even consider answering it.

Vader cursed as Artemis's Illusion, along with its pilot, disappeared, entering lightspeed.
Deciding to not waste another moment, Vader made the jump as well.
The stars blurred, changing into the endless streaking blue of lightspeed as Vader sat back in his seat.
Luna had been there. She had actually been there.
And Vader hadn't even managed to see her.
And like Luke and Leia so many times before, she had slipped right out of his grasp.
