Perfect Pairs
--Tara--
I followed Lara outside, I never seen my sister like this, she was supposed to be...you know, obedient...
It was always like that, I was the hard-headed one, and she was the obedient one, the perfect child, the white sheep, you know the opposite of the black sheep, I never seen her talk back to father like that... Does the idea of an arranged marriage bothers her this much. That is so unlike her, we both know from the very start, that princesses had their marriage arrange, for the sake of the kingdom, so how does the idea of having an arranged marriage because of a prophecy change anything?
"What's wrong Lara?"
"Nothing"
"You do not usually act like that!, surely that's not nothing, you knew from the very start, that some way or another our marriages would be arranged for the sake of the kingdom, and the fact that Prince Luke is quite handsome, I couldn't understand, why you have to act like that?" I questioned her, trying to break the awkward feeling in the atmosphere
she smiled...
"I just don't believe in prophecies Tara, and the fact that they are trying to lie at us, those things just don't seem to fit my mood"
"Oh really, I thought you were just sad, cause you like Prince John better" I said lowly like it wasn't important
She glared at me
"What?" and then I giggled and then she smiled
"May we join you your hignesses?" we were cut off, by of course ...the noble princes of Mahastia and Veromina
There were silence for the moment, Prince Luke and Lara are staring at each other's eye, while I and Prince John just stared at them...until I broke the silence
"Of course!, Tea then"
"That would be wonderful" Prince John agreed with me...probably feeling the tension too

"Alterria is truly a great kingdom, I have heard that this is the only kingdom who is not affected by Lothian's lost" Prince John opened up a conversation
"Every kingdom wept on the death of King Alcheon, but Alterria still stands, and the only one who is not in war... for Lothian" Prince Luke added
"Maybe that's because, Alterria can stand on its own, and won't need other kingdom to depend on, your highness" Lara said seriously and with venom
"Lara!, Please pardon my sister, she just don't like...this kind of things" I said before another fight
"I understand she hates prophecies, then" Luke answered
"I don't hate prophecies, I don't believe in it, I believe people make their own fate, whoever invented such things are lazy persons who depend their lives on predictions!"
"I respect your belief, Lady Lara, but if yours are right, how can you explain all the things that are happening?" Luke asked confused
"What things are you saying then, the full moon?, surely there are some logical explanation to that... and if so Lord Luke believe in such things, won't you support me, if I said this such thing should be waited until it happens, not planned by mortals"
"If your talking about the arrangement your highness, that isn't planned by mortals, both of us, Prince John and I Luke, are born at the same day you two highnesses are... surely we have some connections to the prophecy"
