The Test

"The first test that you need to past, a test of agility .......you are going to race with one of our agent here, Sir Dwain!, every agent must have every qualities that is needed to serve Alterria...and one of that is the ability of speed and agility, you must avoid all the obstacle to reach the goal...anyone who failed this test, is not worthy to be called Guardians of Alterria!..BEGIN!

the race was inside the forest, besides the trees, there are also hidden traps to stop them from reaching the goal, Sir Dwain is the fastest knight in the organization, there is no way, to bet him...no way

There were I guess 20 recruits before the test, lets see how many of them will survive

one was caught in the net...typical, ...another fell, in the hole,.. cliches do work........... ok so far there are five left.......i mean four, oh erase that, its three.....nope its four..... the other one got up,...But sir Dwain was winning...nope erase that, he already won, 

As he reach the finish line, the other two fell down defeated and exhausted, while the other two just as they reach the finish line, they fell down the ground and tried to kill the ground with their punches

"Stop it! Pathetic...." I stared at the two of them, and the other two, I realized, one of them is Nerth,

"you two!,..you pass" I told the two who reach the finish line, they were surprise judging from their faces, I stared at Nerth, he just stared at me

"What?!" he said  "They didn't.........."

"THEY DIDN"T QUIT!!!!" I cut him off " Losing and quitting are different Bervach....defeat does not finish a man,quit does, a man is not finished whe he is defeated, he is finish when he quits.... Sir Dwain is already a guardian, the fastest of us, what makes you think you could defeat him?, The test is not about speed, its about perseverance, and you failed"

he looked shocked at this, until a chariot broke the silence, soldiers came and a lady went out of the chariot she is wearing a hood.....Lara

"Lady Nida, shes looking for you" the guardians already know about her knowledge of the organization

"Let her come" when the recruits see her, they know exactly who she is..... they bowed right before her,..gush, royalty.......

"Father is looking for you" now I can see the confused faces of the recruits, father huh?

"Why?"

"Have you forget?, we have visitors today, and your presence is highly needed"

"Yah, yah, I'll go after this" he turned her attention to the recruits and Nerth catches her emotionless eyes, she sat so their eyes are level

"You look....awefully familiar" Nerth looked nervous, being too closed to a princess I guess

"He's Nerth Bervach"

"bervach? son of sir Gwrhr?"

"yup and he failed the test"

"oh" she stood

"you should give them a chance, I think they'll gonna be a great asset to your organization"

 and oh..." he went near me and whispered something

"I know" I whispered back, he turned her back and headed towards the chariot

"Please, dont let them wait too long Tara"

"Yah, yah, I'll be there" and with that the carriage went towards the castle ....

leaving me back to the recruits again

now, they were all staring at me

"What?"

"Are you?" one of them manage to say, not sure what to say, I guess

I took my hood off, revealing my hair, I guess theres no need to hide my identity anymore, thanks to my beloved sister...yah right

"Lady Tara Ars Le Faye..." they were shocked at first but they all bow down except for the guardians of course, they already know

"I told you, everyone in the organization is equal, threat me as you threat everyone else, I am your princess only in the society not in this organization..........always remember that!"

they slowly stand and bowed

"yes sire"

"very well, i'll Lara is right, I'll give you a chance....all of you shall proceed to round 2"

"Lose or lose just dont make the mistake of quitting, what for are your scratch if you'll just quit!"
