Next Day at Z Events:

Shehnaaz called Madhu in her cabin.

Shehnaaz: listen Madhu.. I want you to go to Gill Events office today and inform the team there about us taking over them.
Offer them to stay back and continue working with us.

It felt so weird saying this.. even when it was your own right.
This feeling was different.
How 5 years back someones PA had come to her office and offered these things and now how the tables have turned
The feeling was relieving.

Madhu: you won't be joining us?

Shehnaaz sighed

Shehnaaz: abhi himmat nai hui waha wapas kadam rakhne ki
I will need some time

Madhu nodded in understanding

Shehnaaz: also, according to how many of them stay back check karlo if we are gonna have enough working space for everyone.
Kuch bhi changes ho then speak to our Architect

Madhu: I am so happy that you finally have Gill Events back.
5 years ka payback start ho hi gaya.

Shehnaaz: mujhe nai lena dena usse.. 5 saal pehle jo hua it was my fault.
Maine uspe trust kia tha.. Asim wale incident ke bawajood.
But no more.. I won't be falling in his trap again.
Mujhe usse koi vaasta nahi rakhna
He does not exist for me.

Madhu: Shehnaaz you cannot leave him aise hi yaar.

Shehnaaz: Madhu.. please.. Maine nai karna uski life mai kuch.
I will wait for Karma to hit him and then I will smile

Meanwhile
Karma: doneeeeee !!!

Just then someone barged in her cabin without knocking

Shehnaaz: itna sada hua muh kyu banaya hai?

Shefali: raita fail gaya yaar

Yess.. it was Shefali Bagga.. Shehnaaz's best friend.
They were school friends when Shehnaaz used to stay in Punjab.
So when Shehnaaz shifted back to Punjab they co incidentaly met at a grocery store.
And now are inseparable.
Shefali is a lawyer by profession.
With her help Shehnaaz could become Sana Kaur legally.

Shehnaaz: ab bol bhi

Shefali: yaar he had come to office.

Shehnaaz: who he?

Shefali: mera boyfriend yaar.. woh yaha kyu aya hoga?

Madhu: tujhe milne obviously

Shefali: nai yaar.. even he was shocked finding me here.

Shehnaaz: ek toh pata nahi tera boyfriend itna bada secret kyu hai?
You guys are dating since Law College.
Aaj tak hume naam nai pata shakal toh door ki hi baat hai.

Shefali: jis din woh shaadi ke liye propose karega uss din puri duniya ko bata dungi..

Shehnaaz just let it go because it was her choice.

Shehnaaz: aaj Madhu Gill Events jaa rahi hai..  join her.. kuch legal formalities hui toh it would be of help.

Shefali nodded in agreement and left

Madhu was also leaving then she spoke

Madhu: Mr Oberoi had called today morning.. he has personally invited you for today's function

Shehnaaz: mujhe nai jana yaar.. please politely mana karde.

Madhu: I think you should go.. Shehnaaz it's been 5 years.. you need to go out now.. meet new people..

Shehnaaz sighed.. she knew that Madhu was correct
Still she tried giving 1 last try

Shehnaaz: but yaar gharpe...

She was cut in between

Madhu: gharpe mai sab sambhal lungi

Shehnaaz: okay fine.. ask the designer to send a dress at my place.

Madhu hugged her in happiness.

She had seen her struggle in the past years.. now since she has everything she deserves this break.

At Shukla Enterprises

Since the time Kushal and Siddharth has come back from Z Events office Kushal has not spoken a word.
He is in deep thoughts.

It's been a lot of time and is irking Siddharth
Already his baby was not talking to him.. upar se his guy is behaving weirdly
So he has called Asim for help.

Asim reached in the next few minutes

Asim: isko kya hua.. zombie ki tarah kyu baitha hai?

Siddharth: samaj hi nahi aa raha.. jabse wapas aaye hai aise hi baitha hai..

Asim: kaha se wapas?

Siddharth: Shehnaaz se milke.

Asim: how did it go?

Siddharth: pathetic

Then he narrates everything

Asim: maine bola tha she does not believe in 2nd chances

Siddharth: mehnat lagegi.. but kar lunga uske liye.

Asim just nodded.

Then both their attention again went on Kushal.

Siddharth slapped him on his shoulder and broke the trance he was in

Siddharth: ab bhonk kya hua hai?

Kushal: Shefali and Shehnaaz are best friends

Siddharth and Asim: whaaaaat?

Kushal: yess.. maine bola tha that maine Z Events and Sana Kaur ka naam suna hai pehle

Siddharth: are you serious? Teri girlfriend throughout these 5 years meri Shehnaaz ke sath thi and you could not make out that?

Kushal: bhai usne apne dosto ko nahi bataya humare baare mai yaar
Mai nahi gaya uske office kabhi
And woh bhi usko Sana bolti hai..
Kaise samjhega..

Siddharth: damn Kushal.. only if you were not this stupid mujhe Shehnaaz ko milne 5 saal nahi lagte.

Kushal: I am sorry yaar... mujhe sachi nahi pata tha.. aaj jab hum uske office gaye the tab mili woh mujhe waha and sara kuch pata chala mujhe.

Siddharth: I hope tumlog aaj aa rahe ho Shivaay ki party mai..
I will need support yaar..

Asim: tu karne kya wala.hai?

Siddharth: I dont know.. really.. I just want to grab as many chances to talk to her as possible.

Siddharth then called Jasmine on intercom

On call

Siddharth: Jasmine listen

Jasmine: yes sir?

Siddharth: I want you to call my designer and ask him to send a semi casual party wear to my place
And please re schedule my last meeting.. I will be leaving early.

Jasmine: okay sir.

With that he disconnected the call.

He was very nervous for today.. he had to try and speak to her.
He will have to make as many efforts as possible.

I know I know yeh chapter chota hai and isme Sidnaaz scene bhi nahi hai..
Par I wanted to write the entire party in 1 chapter.

So tomorrow will be #shivika's anniversary party !
