Chapter 36

As soon as Shehnaaz reached home she rushed towards her kids room.
The room was empty

A sudden fear crossed her because even the kitchen and living room was empty.

She had already started panicking and running from door to door of all the rooms in the house but she couldn't find anyone anywhere.

Sweat beads started forming on her forehead.
Her heart was sinking with an unknown fear.
It was the fear of losing her only family.

Suddenly something caught her mind and she rushed towards the terrace

She barged in the terrace and saw her entire family.. Pammi Ji, Ria, Shefali, Madhu, Vishal, Jay, Mahi, Tara and her both munchkins watching a movie on the projector.
Mattress were spread in front of the projector.

Zoro was sitting on Mahi's lap next to Tara who was sitting on Jay's lap.
Zara was sitting between Madhu and Shefali

A wave of relief crossed her heart.
She almost stopped breathing on not finding her kids.
So when she saw them fit and fine she left the breath she was holding.
She slumped and had to take support of the door of the terrace to keep standing.

The door banged due to her sudden pull to balance herself that it caught everyone's attention towards her
Both her kids got up from their place and ran towards her.
She went on her knees and engulfed both of them in her embrace.

The relief and satisfaction what her heart felt could not be described in words.

She picked them up and went downstairs to their room

She put them down once they reached and they asked her together

Zoro and Zara: mumma aap hume aise full day chodke kaha gaye they?

Shehnaaz: mai aap dono ke liye 1 gift lene gai thi.

Both their faces lit up hearing gift.

Zara: kya gift?

She said in a confused tone and started searching for it around Shehnaaz

Shehnaaz chuckled on her behavior and held her forearm and pulled her in front.

Shehnaaz: yeh jo gift hai woh chotu sa nahi hai ke mai hath mai leke aau.
Aap dono pehle jaao apne kapde change karlo and niche aa jao.. sabke sath bataungi mai gift..okay?

The kids agreed and left to their walk in closet to get changed.

Shehnaaz also went to her room.
She took a hot shower changed into her pajamas and went down.

Pammi Ji was setting the table with the help of Zoro, Zara and Tara.
She sneakily gestured Shefali and Madhu to join her and left towards her study.

Once they both came inside she handed the signed papers to Shefali.

Seeing them signed Shefali said

Shefali: usne sachi sign kar dia? I cannot believe this.
Mujhe laga woh aur demands karega.

Shehnaaz: maine usko mauka hi nai dia to think about this.

Shefali and Madhu nodded in agreement understanding what she ment.

Shehnaaz: Madhu transfer him the amount right away.

Madhu nodded and started working on the laptop in the study.

After few minutes she was done and Shehnaaz was satisfied.. finally she had everything which once she lost.

They both hugged her and then left for dinner.

Zoro and Zara were beaming in joy during the entire dinner because they were gonna receive their "gift" after dinner.
