Chapter Two

The next day, which was my day off, Johnny texted me.

Johnny:Hey you wanna come over...?

Me:Why?

Johnny:I don't know....just cus.

Me: ......

Johnny:PLEASE! I promise I won't try anything...

Me:Fine.What will it hurt?I'll be there in a minuete.

So I got dressed real quick, putting my suit and weapons belt on underneath just in case.I usually do when it comes to things like this.Just a precautionary measure.I need to be prepared, I mean they are superheroes...Once I was dressed and ready, left and arrived at they're building within a couple of minuetes. I went to wall inside when- "Hey! Stop right there." someone said and I had a feeling of who it was.I smiled and turned around to face Reed Richards, Susan Storm, and Johnny. Reed was standing in front of them because well, he IS the leader. "I never thought you would find out." I said to them. "Oh yeah we found out alright. And we've already contacted SHEILD." Reed said.I laughed. They're on their way right NOW. "And that's what killed my cocky like attitude. "WHAT!?" He smiled at the way I said that. "Scared?" He asked. "Pfft.No. Not at all. I've dealt with them many times. I just don't need a couple of amateurs in my way slowing down my escape.Not that I'm worried about you." I said a little worried. Mostly about Johnny. I had the power of fire and ice which technically meant water too plus I could fly. So Johnny was able to withstand fire, and well, he could melt out of ice...Although with water I might be able to cheat my way around it. But the other two would be easy to take down. "Before we start, where's the other guy...?" I asked hopping he wasn't around. "He's away on a trip." Susan answered. "Okay.Where do we begin?" I said taking off the coat I was wearing, revealing my skin tight black and red suit and weapons belt. "Here." Reed said stretching out to catch me but I shot ice at his arms, freezing them. Susan went invisible, and things got a little tricky. Suddenly, something hit me and caused me to crash into the building, not really damaging it though.I looked around and I could see something just barely shimmering. I jumped up and shot ice aiming for where I thought the feet would be and I was right.She became visible again and she was clearly struggling. I looked over at Johnny. "Ready for this?" I asked, already starting to float in the air about to fly away. "Ready as I'll ever be." He said and I flew in the air. "Go get her Johnny!" His sister said. As I flew away I heard him say, "Flame on!" And I could already hear him coming.He was fast."Hey ya don't have to do this. If you just stop now maybe they'll take it easy on you!" He yelled behind me."Yeah I know that's not true." I said approaching a large glass building.I shot straight up right before I hit it but Johnny wasn't so lucky. CRASH! That was music to my ears. I thought I was off the hook when i almost ran into a SHEILD Quinjet. "Oh shit" I said turning away but not before I heard Iron Man behind me.Great, they brought the whole team; though I doubt Banner came.The jet disappeared and I could hear it somewhere. I came to a stop when I had relized I had went in a circle.I also noticed tha- THUNK! I got hit with something and crashed down landing on a car, crushing the hood and breaking the windshield. "Ah man that shit hurt." I said rubbing my forhead. But like I was saying, I noticed that there were three more people. Those people were, Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow; Clint Barton, Hawkeye; and the famous Steve Rogers aka Captain America. I hopped off the car my head still hurting from where Captain hit me with his sheild. "Gigs up" I heard turning around to see Iron Man, or Tony Stark, about to shoot me with his suit. And he did, I tried to move out of the way but it still hit my shoulder causing me to stumble back.Now I was getting reall mad. I turned around to face Natasha and we got into a fight. It wasn't going to end good...for her anyway. I thought I had her when I took an arrow to the knee. Well it was at the very top of my knee, still the same thing though. "AH. Son of a..." I said pulling it out and throwing it at them. Clint laughed at that gesture. He looked at Natasha and ran over to get her. That left me and Captain America. He looked at me "Is that the BEST you got?" He asked. "C'mere and I'll show ya tough guy." He was really large but I could take him...Maybe. Lets just say I was a little rusty on hand to hand combat. I went at him pulling out my swords and it began. Our fight went back and forth.One minute he was winning, and the other I was in the lead. Finally I got his sheild away from him so it was just hand to hand. (He had knocked my swords away long ago) "Now this is fair fight" I said as he came at me. Our movements were really fast mostly his though.I mean he was REAL fast. Eventually when I was starting to loose I just froze his feet. "What? Getting a little tired?" He asked as I turned to walk away. "No. I'm perfectly fine." I said beginning to turn once more. "Think fast!" He yelled and I was confused at first when his shield hit me again on the head. I fell down and I could here Johnny returning. He must be un-thawing everyone because they came to stand around me. "I think I'm a little tired now" I said as my vision started to go black.

I woke up in an interrogation room, (the same one our story started out with) wearing heavy duty hand cuffs on my wrists. On my ankle there was what looked like something someone on house arrest would wear. "What the hell..." I muttered to myself. And my HEAD. My god was it pounding hard. I winced as I rubbed my head only to find that someone had actually wrapped bandages around it. All of the sudden someone entered the room. It was Nick Fury. "Heyy...What's up..." I said wincing again. He ignored me and took a seat. "Who do you work for?" He immediately asked. "No one." I answered. "Then who sent you to retrieve that information?"he demanded. "Someone." I replied crossing my arms. "Who.Sent.You?" After that we had what I thought was a death stare contest. "His name is Jensen Williamson." That caused him to stop everything. "You work for Jensen Williamson?" "No. And just so you know, you've used up all of your questions. I'm not answering one more thing." I said. Apparently ignoring this, he said "Tell me what he was going to use it for. Where is he now?" He said and I just sat there. He slammed his hand down angrily and left. Although I wished I hadn't refused to talk because they left me in there for at least 3 plus hours. And here is where our story picks back up again. I'm not going to repeat what I already said so now, on with the story...

We left off where Steve Rogers came in and told me to deal with my boredom,did he not? And so when he sat down I just looked at him. He was clearly observing me, so, I did the same thing back. At first I was just simply glancing, then I just got lost. He had gorgeous blue eyes you could just get lost in, like I was; he had a strong jaw, and parted blonde hair. Then I looked down a little. Of course he was extremely muscular, but the shirt he was wearing took it to a whole new level. All his muscles showed through. He was....very attractive...I looked up at him and he was looking at me. When he met my eye, I blushed deeply. "I'm sorry" I muttered hoping he wouldn't hear. "Do you work for Jensen?" He said breaking the silence. "No. I don't work for anyone in general...I just...I do jobs for people. I mean I do my own thing but alot of the time I just do stuff for people if they ask. And they always pay greatly." I said with a shrug. "And if your wondering what he wanted that information for; I don't know.And if your wondering where he is I don't know that either. I don't know much about him. And lastly if your going to ask about me, ya won't get anything because I don't just tell anyone." I finished. "Thankyou" he said and abruptly stood up and left. When he left I sighed because now I was once again all alone. They left me alone longer this time. Eventually I just fell asleep.

"Hey.Heeyy.Wake up.Natalie." I jolted awake to come face to face with Johnny. "Oh. Hey. What's up?" I mumbled rubbing my eyes. "You need to come with me." He said. I got up and followed. Neither of us said anything. I was to tired to take action. He stopped at a room and opened the door. Inside there was the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four minus The Thing. And they were all arguing loudly. I heard myself mentioned a couple times. "Here she is" Johnny said and they all stopped and looked at me. "Now.We brought you in here to explain some rules." Nick said. "What are you talking about." I asked still a little sleepy. "Your going to work with us on something." He replied. "On what? Finding Jensen because I don-" "We don't care if you know where he is or NOT. Your still going to help us track him down no matter what it takes.You git that?" He said. "Yeah whatever. I guess so...Now when do we start?" I asked. "Well I've reached a decision that you will stay in the Avengers tower with everyone else so that you will always be under super vision. And you move in today." As soon as he said that everyone erupted in argument.
