Throughout the next month, Steve and I trained nonstop. I never realized how fun it actually was. I grew to love doing that. And I assume he did too. Clint talked to Fury and he agreed that I didn't have to do any archery. Anyways, he and Natasha both had missions all the time. Tony and Bruce did a lot of lab work, Reed also did too. Susan and I got to know each other a little more once she realized I was no longer a threat. Johnny and I even became friends. Same with Tony.

But my relationship with Steve changed from just a trainer to a really good friend. I mean with all the training we did, we took breaks here and there and we just...Talked. Which I also enjoyed. Sometimes we would just hang out. We talked about everything and nothing at the same time. Sometimes we wouldn't even train. We would just sit around and talk. One time, we were both on the mats, him sitting, leaning back on his elbows and I laying on my back with my legs slightly thrown over his lap. And we were just chatting away like we were old friends. For the first time I actually enjoyed his company. I knew you liked him. Oh shut up...weird voice in my head.

But anyways, today me and him were just sitting on the mat in the training room playing cards. I was obviously in the lead. It was all fun and games until we heard a beeping sound. He stood up and walked over to the nearby table. He picked up a phone and his expression changed to serious. "What is it" I asked dropping the cards and walking over to him.

"It's a secret emergency mission. But Natasha and Clint are already on an important mission at the time." He said. "Oh." I walked over and picked up the cards lying there, i was now a little discouraged.

"And that's why I need you to go with me." He said with a smile. I ran next to him dropping the cards on the table. "Really.?" I said and he nodded.

"Yep. All you need to do is gear up. Your suit by the way is in your closet." He said walking towards the exit. And I followed, going to my room.

I loved having my suit back. It almost looked brand new. I had my weapons and everything ready on my belt and one thing strapped to my thigh.

I walked out of my room and Steve was waiting for me. I walked up to him and was about to say something until he squated down and started messing with the thing on my ankle. "There. Now you can you your powers. Now let's go." We walked out into the warm evening air.

Once we arrived at our destination, which was a large abandoned factory that supposedly had many underground floors, he said to split up(knowing my ankle thing had a tracking device built into it). Giving me an ear peice, he walked off. He talked me through what the plan was. He went one way, I went the other. Our goal was to find Jensen. Well he wasn't actually here but his first in command was. His name is Jared Wilson I believe. I didn't know how Steve was doing, but I on the other hand was kicking ass. Finally being able to use my powers felt like a giant weight being lifted off my shoulders. Everything was going good. For now.

As I walked down a hallway, silence hung in the air. Dead silence. That wasn't a good sign. I went to turn down a hall, I ran into someone causing me to jump out of my skin. "AAAAHHHHHHH!" The person covered my mouth with their hands. I then realized it was Steve. He pulled his hand away. "Oh thank god it's you." I said with a sigh of relief.

"Did you find anything?" He asked quietly.

"No. Did you?" I hopped he did.

"Unfortunately, no but I did find out that-" but we were suddenly interrupted when something that resembled a grenade rolled into near our feet. He grabbed and shoved me against him then pulled us around the corner holding up his sheild for protection. But nothing happened. Another one rolled next to my foot. "Uh....STEVE!" I cried out. They made a hissing sound and released a gas. We both stood up attempting to escape but the gas got thicker and I started to get dizzy. I certainly hopped it wasn't one of those laughing gasses. I honestly doubt it though...I began swaying to the side and Steve rushed over to catch me. I noticed that the dizziness was getting to him to. He still held me but my vision went black. But not before I heard a bunch if guys come in and pick us up. Steve still tried to fight but the gas had gotten to him too. That's when my vision went completely black.
