I woke up in a dark room with my wrists and ankles tied to a chair. I started struggling but immediately a pain hit my head. I whined a little in pain as a my head started hurting even worse. I stopped moving and I just sat there. Someone will come save me eventually...Right!?
I let my head drop as I sighed. After a moment I tried to pull my wrists free again but it only made them hurt.
My head shot up when the lights came on. I then gasped a little when I saw who walked in..."Na-Nathan?" I asked slowly, while squinting at the brightness. He stared at me a long moment before speaking.
"I'm sorry but we don't know each other." He said and I thought I could literally hear my heart break. How... I just shook my head and looked down as tears welled up in my eyes.
He stood there, confused a little when someone else walked in. "Thankyou Nathaniel. Go prepare the testing room." Jensen said and Nate- Nathaniel-nodded. Then he walked out.
I looked at Jensen and scowled. Once Nathaniel had walked out he smirked at me. "Well isn't he just lovely mmh?" He asked and I just glared at him.
"Now that you've got me, what do you want?" I asked and he clasped his hands behind his back.
"I just wanna start running some test and doing some experiments..." he said walking around me slowly.
"That's all?" I asked watching him.
He chuckled lowly and I shivered a little.
"It's not going to be easy....On you anyways...It'll be quite painful. You may or may not survive." He said and when he came back around, to where I could see him, he now looked like Steve. His ability to change into any human being...But when he changes into someone it's like...He can almost lure the other person in. Depending on who he was. And changing into Steve? Oh this wasn't going to be good. Plus he has powers of persuasion so...I was doomed.
I gasped as I looked at him. He gave me a warm smile as he braced his hands against the back of my chair, leaning closer to me.
"Just stay calm Nat. Everything will be okay alright...?" He said softly. I nodded slowly as he leaned even closer so that our noses slightly touched. My breath hitched in my throat as I looked into his eyes. It isn't him! Snap out of it.
As soon as this though came to mind I shook my head and banged it against his. This made things worse and now my whole head was practically throbbing. I cried out in pain as Jensen backed up, now himself again.
"That wasn't very nice. I'll make sure to tell the scientists that tomorrow."
I glared at him as my vision blurred. "You're not gonna win. Someone's gonna come save me. And you're. Gonna. Lose." I said as my eyes started getting heavy. I heard him laugh and I opened them long enough to see him walk out as he said, "They may be too late when they find you..." he turns off the light and slams the door after he walked out. I groaned a little as I thought about what he said. At this point I thought my body was too weak and...Well after experimentation, who knows what's gonna happen. Then I just let my eyes close as I fell into darkness one again, oblivious to the day ahead...
