Till the End of the Line(Book One)

Chapter Four

   "Rise and shine!"I heard someone say. I groaned and rolled over. "Nope don't even think about going back to sleep. Get up. Training time.Chop chop!" I shot up and seen Clint Barton in my room expressionless waiting for me to get up. "Really? Why!?" I asked rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "Just trying to do my job" he said with a small smirk. "Fine just get out." I muttered getting up and he left. "Oh. And by the way, the training area is 5 floors up on the 10th floor." He added walking out.

    Once he was gone I flopped out of bed and got dressed in some sweatpants and a T shirt. I brushed my teeth then pulled my hair back into a ponytail. This was going to be a looooong day. I thought to myself as I left my room to go to the 10th floor. The 10th floor was mainly a gym. Like, it was huge. It wasn't necessarily a gym though; just with no equipment. It seemed to be mostly for fighting and those kinds of things. When I walked in Clint was just shooting his bow. Of course he was making the target every time. "Are you sure you have the patience to train me?" I asked. He just shoved a bow in my hands. "Are you ready?" He asked expressionless. "When am I not?" I said grabbing an arrow and trying to shoot one of the targets but missing terribly. Clint looked at me with an almost expressionless disgust. "That's not even how you hold it." He said and I took a deep breath hoping this would go by FAST! But boy was I wrong.

     "Okay, ya know what. I'm just 100% done with this shit." I exclaimed angrily. "Director Fury requested that you are trained by me atleast once a week and-" but I cut him off. "I don't care at this point. I'm done for the day. And I ain't coming back unless you drag my ass back in here." I walked out and went back to my room and no one came to drag me back. That was until tomorrow morning when Captain Steve Rogers came in my room and woke me up. Not too nicely might I add.
