In the real world...
A little boy who seems to look like he's around a year old, ran towards a tree, giggling loudly. He managed to climb a small hill, reaching a certain white haired, icy blue eyed male. The man spotted the baby boy and smiled warmly, hands reaching out. "Hey Xavier, come here. How did you manage to come here? Mama must've fell asleep again, huh. Can't blame him, since he's expecting any minute now." The baby cooed as he was being snuggled against the chest of the man, known as Angel.
These three years were hard, but the couple were able to get through the rough patches and Meliodas gave birth to a healthy baby boy last year, on Tristian's birthday. Which sadly, was also the second anniversary of his death. Around three months after Xavier's birth, Meliodas had some other news to share.
"Hey babe, it seems like we just couldn't wait huh. Round two is happening.." Meliodas announced with a chuckle.
Angel smiled and kissed him passionately, holding him in his arms lovingly. Once they pulled apart, the white haired male cupped Mel's face. "I..I have something I've been wanting to ask you, Mel." The blond looked at him, with a curious glint in his eyes. "Yeah, what is it?" He asked softly. He suddenly became worried as Angel suddenly went down, but became confused again when he saw Angel going down on only one knee. What is..this?
"Mel...I love you so much, you complete me. Will you...Will you marry me?"
The blond gasped and teared up, covering his mouth with one hand.
Nodding his head fast, Mel gave only one answer.
"Yes!"
It was getting late, at least for little Xavier here. Angel started walking back towards the family home. Once he got close, his hearts beating fast when he heard a loud groan, that could only be recognized as his fiancé. Angel cursed under his breath, running fast towards his love, already knowing what's currently happening.
Meliodas is in labor.
When he got inside the house, Mel was curled up in a ball, wincing in pain and clear discomfort. Angel combed his fingers through the golden locks briefly, before jogging into the room to get the bags already prepared and strapping Xavier to the carrier. "Mel, you gotta try to get up and walk, okay baby? I can't carry you, I'm carrying the bags and Xavier." He could hear a small whimper and some shuffles of movement. "N-No problem." Mel answered, assuringly. The couple soon got outside and flew towards the Camelot infirmary.
It's time.
————————————————————————-
"Congratulations Sir Angel and Sir Meliodas, you both are now proud parents of two healthy boys. Let me clean them up and prepare the paperwork for you guys. What are the names?" Angel and Meliodas smiled at each other lovingly before turning their attention back to the nurse to give their answer.Smiling, they both said, "Ashton Hector Midnight and Trevor Tristian Midnight!" The family didn't had an official last name for many years until their dear son, Tristian, died. Making sure to give their late son the last name as well before burying him. The nurse wrote it down on a piece of paper and placed it in her pocket before accepting the twins from the doctor.
Right when all the medical staff left, Angel peppered many kisses all over Mel's face, making his fiancé chuckle huskily. Mel made sure to lean slightly up to give Xavier a small kiss on the forehead. Angel pulled back and used his free hand to cup Mel's cheek once again.
"Thank you, for everything."
Meliodas snorted and shook his head with a brighter smile than before.
"No, thank you babe. For everything, for saving me..."
He winked suggestively, making Angel snort out a laugh. "I love you." Meliodas said easily, but still full of love and truth in those words. Angel teared up and leaned down again, placing their foreheads together.
He sighed deeply, content, "I love you too."
