After a long day the three had, they were finally done and resided in the dorm room. Tristian saw it earlier and didn't like how he had to share a room with the duo. "Shut up, kid. Deal with it." Eden growled out menacingly. Utopia was already asleep on her own bed. While Tristian and her dad shared a bunk bed together. "But I know the second I go to sleep, you're going to complain about me moving around." Eden rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. Tristian just huffed out in defeat and slump down his bed, frowning slightly. Soon, it became silent and Tristian thought that the duo finally went to sleep.
So he thought it would be best to sneak out.
When Tristian made it back to the place of the ceremony from earlier, he just sat on the edge of the stage, but eventually laid down on it. He looks at the single sheet of darkness. This is what the afterlife really looks huh, huh. Barely any life in the sky. Not even in Utopia and Eden's faces as well. They can show emotion but the actual image seems empty. Like they actually died and are not just supernatural beings from God. For some reason, Tristian hates feeling or acting all philosophical and think deeply. But it helped him grow and survive a little.
He wonders once again, of how his mom and Angel are doing. Knowing them, the two probably had a child of their own after all. Tristian may have been confused on the resemblance and scared at Angel's behavior at first when younger, but believe or not, he had always been a fan. Since day one. It was like he could sense their aura's matching each other perfectly. Those two were absolutely perfect. They were in synced and balanced each other out. Soon, Tristian's mind went to Florist. Is she alright? What about the baby? Deep down, he hope that it's a boy.
Tristian pictures the sky being filled with millions of stars and starts counting as if they were really there. 'So...ADHD, huh. I guess it makes sense. I always got scolded by a teacher or Arthur himself when I couldn't stay still or pay attention long enough to something.' He was brought back to reality when he heard a voice calling out to him.
Ugh, Eden.
"Go back to bed, kiddo. It's past your bedtime."
"I'm twenty! Not a kid!"
"And I'm a father. Do you think I care? Nope! Now, c'mon." Eden walked closer and took ahold of Tristian's arm, dragging the younger one along. Tristian started to swear like crazy in grumbles. Eden rolled his eyes. Man, though he barley knew Tristian for a day, he's already treating him like a son.
Speaking of sons...no, no way. His name shall not be uttered. Not after what he did.
When the two reached their room, Eden lifted Tristian and placed him on the top bunk bed. "Go to sleep. If you listen to me, then, I will try to see if I can get you some cupcakes. Deal?" Tristian pondered. Well...he was a sucker for sweets so...
"Deal!"
Eden won, for now.
Sorry for the short chapter. Been busy with school (specifically, midterms).
