He expected Cyrus to come back to him.

But he didn't.

With each step taken, Tristian started feeling more and more dread. He didn't hit him that hard. Did he? It would be horrible if someone that he cares about ends up being hurt because of him. 'What kind of partner am I? To do that to the person I love.' Yes, though it would never replace the love he has for Florist, Tristian loves him. That's why it hurts. That his (non sexual) lover is related to the person who murdered his first love.

Waiiit, does that mean he's gay? Nah, maybe he is just gay for Cyrus. He never felt this way before, even with his closest comrades. Also, before ever meeting Florist and eventually being with her, he did...uh, found himself sexually attracted and kind of lusting after a few women in the castle. But they always seem to disappear the next day. Tristian soon found out that it was because of Arthur. The damn bastard. Anyways, he should focus on the task at hand.

He hopes Cyrus is okay.

For both of their sakes.

Tristian soon stopped in tracks and furrowed his eyebrows. He stayed still and listened for any movements. Suddenly, he took out his dagger and swung it behind him, hearing a shaky yelp and blood spilling onto the ground. He turned around and found a guy with a snake head, dead on the floor. "This must be one of the henchmen Nicho talked about." Tristian whispered to himself. Well, he was obviously right.

Many more came and died as Tristian traveled through the tunnel. When he was surprisingly, already halfway through the tunnel, he stopped in his tracks when he saw a huge figure standing before him. But they didn't seem to notice him. Suddenly, Tristian's eyes widened when he squinted his eyes and noticed the giant having brown pigtails and a orange jumpsuit.

"D-Diane?!" Tristian yelled out in surprise.

The figure turned towards him and looked down. The two stare at each of for a minute before Tristian heard a squeal. "Tristiaaaannn! I missed you! How have you been?" The boy shrugged and accepted the offer from Diane to climb up and sit on her shoulder. "It has been pretty hard. Had to fight some beings, deal with a baby gorilla that was in love with me and...I met someone I was fond with, only to find out that they have a relative who killed my late fiancé. I, uh, kinda did a number on them before I continued my way here." Diane frowned in sympathy. Now that is sad, with what Tristian went through.

She decided not to ask any questions but instead says, "I am planning on heading back to the land of the living as well. Can we be traveling buddies? Pleasseee?" Tristian chuckles and nods his head, finally smiling for the first time in a while. "Sure, I don't see why not. I will guide you and protect you from any other minions in this place. Now, go street ahead to that pile of skulls there that is shaped like a heart." Diane nodded her head and listened, when she got there, she and Tristian saw a small light at the end but not for long.

A crash of rocks fell, including a familiar snake.

Nicho.

"I'm not that surprised at your quickness here, Tristian. You are the son of the sons of the late demon king after all. But this is all you will get by. As for...ack!" Suddenly, Nicho's head dropped to the ground, revealing bones, mountains of blood and other organs that are slowly slipping out. Diane gasped and looked at Tristian, who's face was expressionless as he wiped away the blood on his dagger.

Since when did he move to kill that snake?!

Tristian placed the dagger back into it's place and turned his head to stare at Diane. He tilted his head before slowly letting a soft smile grace his lips. "I'm sorry. Hopefully I didn't scare you or anything. I sometimes get a little...scary. But don't worry, I won't ever hurt you. Shall we continue now?" Diane gulped and nodded her head.

Note to self, do not mess Tristian. Also, he is definitely Meliodas's son.

The two soon reached outside and man, no wonder this is dubbed the 'bad side' of Purgatory. Everything is dark with a hint of redness here and there. But thank goodness that it's not as dark to the point that the two couldn't see and make out anything. Tristian looked at Diane, who looked at him back with a smile.

"Are you ready, Diane?"

She nodded her head excitedly before turning her attention back to their environment. "Oh hell yeah! Let's gooo!" Tristian chuckled again, ruffling her hair.

"Let's go then."

There it is, welcome to the climax of this journey.
