Are you happy Tristian(Last installment of 'Are you ___' series)

Chapter 23

A/N: Quick explanation. I remember when I talked about being temporarily dead. I apologize for not being more clear about it. But it's mostly for people who are special being like Eden or those who were assigned a special job. Everyone else will just be turned into ghost.

"Eden...I'm going back home with Diane whether you like it or not. So let us go."

"But why? After all we've done for you! Ya know you would've been here instead of the other side!"

Tristian and Diane ran into Eden not too long ago, Diane was immediately knocked unconscious by Eden, who is clearly attached to Tristian. Due to him not wanting his reputation to be tarnished. Right now, the two are confronting each other and exchange words.

The boy shook his head, "I've barely been with you for like, two days. The only thing you two did for me was escort me to Purgatory and act like my babysitters. Besides, I have a goal in mind too. But of course, you would never understand." Eden raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms.

"It's to find your fiancée's killer and end them, right?" Eden asked quietly.

Tristian shrugged, "And if it is? Why does it matter to you?"

Eden could see Tristian's face becoming emotionless as his eyes turned from green to black. This isn't good at all. "Revenge isn't a good thing to seek. Look at what hate has turned you into." Tristian only stared at him as he slowly takes out his daggers. Not saying anything.

"I suggest you let us go. Or shall I slay you like I have slain Nicho." Tristian says. Eden's eyes widened. Of course he despised the bastard himself but for Tristian to kill him? No one except for God could do that. Plus there is another thing to this.

Unless God forgives him, Tristian is forever doomed to this side of Purgatory if he ever succeeds in escaping and living a second life again.

Which is what Eden soon told him.

Tristian stared at him before positioning his daggers and quickly dashing towards him to strike. Eden gained a large scratch on his face, causing him to hiss in pain. Eden is a different scenario. In a way, his 'death' will be similar to the demon king. If he is successfully 'slain,' he will be put to sleep for around two hundred years or so. Depends on the act.

Eden should've stayed sharp because Tristian then used his other dagger to stab Eden in the side of his neck. Eden threw him off as he gasps in pain, his eyes looked up to see Tristian looking at him in shock, black eyes slowly going away and becoming green again. He soon started to stutter out, "I...I'm sorry! I didn't mean." Suddenly Eden shot out a power beam and it hit Tristian hard, sending him flying and crashing against a bolder.

"Now you made me mad, I will deal with your friend here now." Tristian's gasped and shook his head. "No! Leave her out of this! It's me you want, I attacked you!" Eden ignored him and continued walking towards the still unconscious girl. Tristian started to panic as he realized he couldn't move from the effects of the power beam.

Come on! Think Tristian!

"Are you sorry for letting revenge and hate fill your heart?"

Tristian heard the voice in his head and mentally responded back.

"Yes, I'm sorry to Eden for what I did and to you if you were watching and are disappointed in me."

What he heard next was music to to his ears.

"Child, it's alright. I am the dragon called Nifitri. I forgiven you for that and for the death of Nicho. God has too. Now, you are deemed worthy of my power. I will say, the color of your eyes will change. That is all, the power should support you but if not, I will help, just call my name."

Suddenly, a bright golden light surrounded Tristian and his body felt a little warm and soon, energized and healed up of any injuries. It started to float up a little as little white balls surrounded him as well for a bit before going inside him. Eden has since froze in his spot and became even more shocked when Tristian and landed on the floor. Slowly opening his eyes to glare at Eden. But the man wasn't worried about that. He was worried about the color of Tristian's eyes.

They were now gold.
