Chapter 24

Tristian slowly started walking towards Eden, who felt like he couldn't move. "You know, I could kill you. Just one move and that's it," Tristian starts casually as he stops right in front of Eden, "but I won't do that. I will just put you to sleep and have God deal with you." He patted the man's hair before punching the side of his head, making him unconscious.

He turned around and ran towards Diane, who started to wake up with a slight groan. She spotted Tristian and rubbed her eyes. "Tristian, I had the scariest dream, you were in it. You killed everyone and left me to die...please don't let it become reality. I want to see King so bad." Tristian placed a hand on one,of her brows rubbing his thumb there side to side in comfort. "Of course you will see King. I will take you there, I promise." He scooted forward and hugged the top of her face as she starts to tear up.

"I promise you Diane, you will make it back home, even if it means that I might have to stay."

Two weeks later...

Cyrus laid there, battered and bleeding a lot. His hands were crushed and scratched up and half of his right leg was cut off. Basically long story short, he is dying. Zeldris clapped him several times before finally leaving him be. No matter what, he has to get to Tristian. And help him get back to the real world.

If only the two didn't end on bad terms.

It still breaks his heart whenever he thinks about their last interaction.

'No mater...I have to get there...I have to..."

Finally. They're here.

"Diane...look at how beautiful the mountain and the door is. We are almost there! We did it!" The giant girl giggled and clapped her hands before smiling at him. "I was just an escort, you did the hard work, hehe." Tristian snorted and shook his head before looking back at what's in front of them.

Before they could continue, a voice yelled out to them.

"Oi! Why do you want to leave your dear father?"

Him again?!

Tristian quickly turned around to stare at the one person he hates the most. His father. He could feel Diane trembling in fear. It only made him angrier, especially with him remembering of what Diane told him a while back, that Zeldris killed her. The male dropped down to the ground and signaled to Diane to stay put.

But Diane protested, "That's not fair! You did a lot Tristian, let me help!" While making sure to keep an eye on his dad, Tristian turned to face her with a small smile. He simply put a finger to his lips before turning his attention back to Zeldris.

Zeldris smirked, "I see you got the golden eyes. Meaning that Nifitri bastard is back. Oh well, I can deal with that one later. Now, let's see what that power of yours can do against me. But wait, let's add a little spice to this." Tristian stayed silent and glared even harder.

Especially when the man said this.

"If you win against me, you can go. But if I win against you, you'll stay right here."
