After George and I both washed up we made our way back down to the kitchen, where Molly had finished the cake and was making dinner as Remus, Arthur, and my father all sat around. I went ahead and walked over towards my dad as George took a seat with his father. I placed my hand on my dad's shoulder as he looked up at me.

"Can we go talk?" I asked him.

"Yeah of course," He said as he pushed up out of his chair, "Lady and gentlemen we will be right back."

"No worries Sirius dinner will be ready in a few," Molly said as we made our way out of the kitchen area and went upstairs to the dining room area were they have the Order meetings.

"What's up kiddo?" He asked as I took a seat.

"I feel like things are getting better and worse at the same time,"

"How so?"

"I mean he has left me alone for the most part after Marie yelled at him. He also did say he is waiting to get me alone. In the meantime, he has a group of his friends watching me. I've lost sleep over it. I have skipped meals over it. George will always ask me if I am okay and I lie to him because I don't want to hurt him."

"It is up to you to tell him. No one else. If he is planning to get you alone it may be better to have others in your corner. I know you want to feel strong up against him but sometimes we need the help of those around us," My father said.

"How do I tell him?"

"The same way you told me."

"It's hard dad," I said as I had begun to cry.

"I know. It took you a lot of courage to tell me and Marie. But you can do it. If he truly likes you or thinks highly of you, which I think he does. He will comfort you and accept you and protect you."

"But I am damaged, dad."

"You are not. You are far far far from it. You are strong and brave and daring. You are Daisy Willow Black. You overcame this once and you will do it again. I have faith in you." He said as his voice croaked. I looked up at him as he pulled me into his embrace.

"I just don't want anything bad to happen,"

"I can't promise you that nothing will. Hold your head up high and carry on. You can do it,"

"I know dad," I said, "I just think I really like George and I don't want to put him in a position where he is going to feel like I will resent him."

"You won't put him in a position unless you clearly do. I don't think you would. Just let fate and destiny take over. Everything happens for a reason and if you and George grow feelings for each other, there is no doubt in my mind that, that boy would take it day by day to make you feel safe and loved and cared for."

"You really think so?"

"Flower, I know so. I see how he looks at you and how he cares for you. During the meeting, we could hear you two laughing. It made me laugh knowing that he was making you happy. Don't let the past ruin something that could be so beautiful."

"I think you should write a book," I giggled.

"Your other used to say that," He said as he stood up from the chair he was sitting in, "Now we should probably head back. I think the food is ready."

Dinner was splendid. Everyone sat around the table joking and laughing with each other. Sirius and Remus going on about their time at Hogwarts and giving George some ideas for when we go back. Once everyone had finished eating we all cleaned up and then moved into the living room. My father taking his place at the piano as George went to sit next to him. It took my father a bit of pestering before I finally got up and he started to play my favorite song. A song my mother sang while she was pregnant with me. Everyone in a trace as I sang along with my father.
