Heart breaking

After her meeting Sasha was still feeling a high from the information Bayley provided and her layers were on board as well. Sasha heard a knock on her office door and noticed it was Braun walking in. "Hello Boss, I have the information you asked for." Braun told Sasha. Sasha looked up at him when he said he had the information on Bayley. "Was it hard to find out anything? I'm impressed you didn't have to travel to get the information." Sasha asked.

Sasha noticed Braun looked a little uneasy when she asked that question. "Some of the information was easy to get but another parts, I had to pull in a few favors to get the information. My contact that I know in California found out the information and before I left for the airport he sent it over. I would suggest you read this at home and keep it to yourself. Some of it will be hard to go through if you really care about her you won't let anyone know what happen to her." Braun told Sasha

Sasha looked at Braun with a puzzling look "How bad is it?" Sasha demanded. Sasha never seen Braun look sad about anything and was about to answer when Carmella walked in with the copies Sasha had asked for. "Hello big man, are you leaving already for the day or are you still going to talk to the marketing team." Carmella asked Sasha. "Not leaving yet, Braun just wanted to know what time I was planning to go. Carmella please tell the team the meeting will be in 30 minutes." Sasha said thanking Carmella. Once Carmella left the office Sasha turned her focus back to Braun. "What is so bad in your finding that I should wait to read it?" Sasha asked.

Braun knew there was no way around this so he decided to tell her. "I found out that Bayley was almost beat to death by her father. The photos are hard to look at and I assume Bayley wouldn't want anyone to see them." Braun said. Sasha heart dropped when she heard that information and couldn't understand how it could happen. "Boss I know you want to see the folder but I will hold on to it until after your meeting. I do apologize for coming in and telling you. I would have waited until you were ready to leave." Braun said.

Sasha knew she had get through this meeting and than she can deal with the information at hand. "No Braun I wanted to know about Bayley good or bad. I will see you in an hour." Sasha said walking out of her office and into her meeting. The marketing team still wasn't close to what Bayley had planned out. "None of you are get it and I will not be going with your ideas at all. I have plans that I will put into motion this afternoon. What you have presented to me doesn't help the company grow in the long run and with that all of you are on thin ice. Meeting is over." Sasha said angrily.

"Boss, do you really have a plan in place or is this away to get them to step up their game?" Carmella asked. "I have a plan set and ready to go and if they are not careful they might be looking for new jobs." Sasha said walking back to her office. Another knock was heard on Sasha door. "Yes come in." Sasha said. "Ms. Bank, I take full responsibility for my team not reaching the goals that you asked for. If we could have another chance to make this right?" The marketing manager asked. "No, I've given your team enough time to come up with something that would work and your still missing the point. Your team will be assigned to another project." Sasha tells the marketing manager.

Sasha watched as the marketing manager looked defeated and hoped he would step up his game. Sasha sat for a moment lost in thought about her team of 20 couldn't come up with any ideas that where the same to Bayley ideas. Bayley look at what the consumer needs where along with the business. Sasha knew she needed to talk to Bayley about her ideas and what else she could come up with. Sasha packed up her things along with Bayley ideas and headed out. Carmella stopped her to hand her the winter color line like she asked. "Thank you and I will be leaving for the rest of the day." Sasha said.

Sasha meet Braun in the parking garage and asked to see the folder. "Boss are you sure you want to read it in the car." Braun asked. "I can handle it." Sasha said. Sasha started to read the first few pages of the report. Sasha was impressed with Braun work like always. The report started out with the basic information. " Bayley Martinez 25 lives in San Jose California and graduated with honors from San Jose high. Bayley got a full ride to Boston University on her grades and basketball skills. Bayley major in Marketing and Sales . She is the daughter of Randy and Lita Martinez and has 1 sibling named Roman.

Sasha noticed Bayley inherited millions of dollars and 1000o acres of land from her grandmother. If Bayley has the money why does she live in that apartment for? Something wasn't adding up with all this. Braun pulled in to the garage and turned to look at Sasha. "You might want to finish that in your apartment." Braun told Sasha. "Thank you and I will see you tomorrow." Sasha tells him. Sasha got to her apartment and walked in and it felt empty to her. "Hello Ms Banks, dinner will be ready in 30 minutes. Chicken and vegetables will be served for dinner." The butler said. "Thank you just call me when it's ready please. I will be in my office." Sasha said heading up stairs.

Sasha sat at her desk and reopened the folder Braun gave her. Sasha moved a page and came across some photos. Sasha couldn't understand why these photos are in the folder. Than she realized who the photos were. It was her Bayley, beat so bad that her eyes were swollen shut. Sasha read the notes on the photo of Bayley injures. Bayley jaw was broken in two places, bruised ribs and dislocated shoulder. Bayley was in the hospital for two week in a coma. Bayley mom cover up how Bayley got injured by saying she fell off the roof. The truth was that her father is the cause of the injuries. Bayley father was mad that his mother left Bayley everything. Her father was mad that her brother got the girl that Bayley was seeing pregnant. He blamed her for her brother throwing away his life for that girl.

Sasha couldn't believe what she was reading and seeing. How could he do this to his own daughter. Sasha could feel tears running down her face. Bayley ended up moving in with Becky Lynch after things started get worst at home. Bayley doesn't travel home for the holidays. To make peace and to make sure Bayley doesn't press charges against her father. Bayley mom put her on the payroll at the family own winery. Sasha couldn't believe Bayley mom was paying off her daughter to protect her husband. Bayley suffers from depression because of the beating and has trust issues.

Sasha went down stairs to get herself a glass of wine to help calm her nerves. Her mind kept going back to the photos up stairs and wondering how her father could do this to her. "Your dinner is ready. Will there be anything else you will need for the night." The butler asked. "No, you could actually have the rest of the night off. Thank you" Sasha tells him. Sasha decided to text Braun to asked if he had anymore information on the attack. A few minutes later Braun replied "Her dad took the loss of the money and his mom hard. Than his son actions and stress from the winery cause him to drink more. Bayley was already depressed from losing her grandmother and one night he took everything out on her. She lucky to still be live."
