Hard to let go

Sasha asked Braun to meet her at apartment first thing in the morning and thanked him for the information. Sasha remember that she told Bayley she would call her. Sasha dialed the number Bayley gave her and checked the time. "Hello beautiful how was your day?" Bayley said sleepily. "I'm sorry did I catch you at a bad time? I can call you in the morning." Sasha tells Bayley. "Oh no not at all I must of dozed off. I had a hard workout and than worked at the coffee shop. So, a normal day for me." Bayley said.

"I'm sorry I didn't call earlier, I got side tracked at worked." Sasha said. "It's ok I know you are a busy women. How did you like my ideas?" Bayley asked. "I love the ideas you gave me and this brings me to my next part of business with you. I would like to hire you as my inter?" Sasha asked Bayley. "Who would I be working for as an inter?" Bayley asked. "Well you will work with me and I would like you to run my YouTube project. You have great ideas and I want this to be a hit. You don't have to work at my office. You can come to my apartment and work on the project. This will help you log the hours you need for your degree. This is your idea and you should get credit for it." Sasha told Bayley.

"Thank you, I would love to work on this project with you." Bayley tells Sasha. "That's great, we can start on Monday if you like." Sasha asked Bayley. "Ya that would be great. That will give me time to work on something for you. Does this mean you are canceling on me for Saturday and Sunday?" Bayley asked. "No I still want to get to know you and see where this goes. I just want to help you out, like you did with the YouTube channel!" Sasha tells Bayley.

"So when do you want to do the charity dinner? My coach said they just need to have a receipt to show the date happen and so they can pay me back for the date." Bayley told Sasha. "Well we could do it Saturday night or Sunday. Just as long as I get spend time with you that's all that really matter to me." Sasha tells Bayley. "So, I guess I need to ask what you like to eat?" Bayley asked Sasha. "Do you you like sea food?" Sasha asked Bayley. "Yes, I do. I know a great place to have sea food. Mike surf and turf. They have really good food." Bayley says. "That funny I was going to name the same place." Sasha said.

"Well than it's a date. Wish we could go to California for some Mexican food. That's the one thing I miss about California." Bayley tells Sasha. Sasha mind went to the file and what Bayley dad did to her. "There nothing else you miss in California?" Sasha asked Bayley. "No not really, just the food. My time in California wasn't really good." Bayley said. "You don't miss your family?" Sasha asked. "The one that I miss the most passed away a while back. I really don't see eye to eye with my parents. My mom wants me to come back to California to work at are family winery when I graduate." Bayley tells Sasha.

Sasha felt her heart drop and didn't want to think about Bayley having to go back to California. Specially with her dad being there. "Do you want to work for your mom?" Sasha asked. "I already work for them to be honest with you. I run their marketing department. I have calls with my mom to go over the marketing plan. It was part of a deal with my mom." Bayley said.  "Why do you work at the coffee shop and live at your apartment for." Sasha asked. "Well like I said your building wouldn't let me rent and at the time this is all I could find. The coffee shop was just a job to keep me busy." Bayley said.

"Well what if I can get you into my building would you take the apartment?" Sasha asked. "I probably would take it but I won't get my hopes up. I better let you go it's getting late. I have class in the morning and have to work at the coffee shop." Bayley tells Sasha. "Wow didn't realize it was this late. Can I call you tomorrow?" Sasha asked Bayley. "Sure that would be nice to talk to you again. Well goodnight." Bayley said to Sasha before hanging up. Sasha could tell Bayley wasn't comfortable talking about her parents. Sasha didn't blame her at all, specially after what her dad did.

Sasha got ready for bed but couldn't stop thinking about Bayley and what happen to her. Sasha walked over to the guess room and picked up the pillow Bayley used. Sasha crawled into bed and slept on the pillow Bayley used. It didn't take long for Sasha to fall asleep. Sasha could here her alarm going off and she couldn't believe it was morning. "Good morning Bayley I hope you have a good day." Sasha texted. Sasha started getting ready for her meeting with Braun. Sasha still wanted more answers for Bayley attack. 

"Good morning boss how are you doing?" Braun asked. "Good morning, I'm doing ok. Would you like a cup of coffee.?" Sasha asked. "Coffee would be good. Thank you." Braun said. "Braun I wanted to talk to you about the file you gave me yesterday. I just feel there much more than what the file is telling me." Sasha said. "Well there is more to the story, than the file tells you. Bayley father beat her twice but the second time Bayley didn't go to the hospital for her injury. What my contact told me that Bayley mom nurse her back to health. Soon after that Bayley left for college. Bayley threw herself into her studies and basketball.

Bayley hasn't dated anyone since she been here. She been working at the coffee shop since she came here as well." Braun said. "How does Becky fit into this picture? You said Bayley was living with her? What about her apartment building she lives in? What are the issues that has people being home early and not going back out?" Sasha asked. "Bayley was staying with Becky after the first attack but her dad had issues with it. He went over to the Lynch house and tried to take Bayley back. Bayley dad went to hit Becky mom but Bayley pushed her out of the way. That's how Bayley took the second beating. Bayley mom paid off the Lynch family and she took Bayley to a private location to recover. Now for the area Bayley lives in is just bad, the college houses have been reported for harassing people and assault on women. The drug dealers seem to control the area as well. It's an area I would suggest Bayley moves out of right away. Are you ready to go to the office?" Braun asked Sasha. "Yes and thank you for answering my question." Sasha said as she walks to the elevator.

Bayley heard her phone go off and noticed that Sasha had text her. "Hello how are you doing this morning. I hope you have a good day." Bayley texted back. "Did you sleep in this morning?" Sasha texted back. "Just a little bit, my class was at 7 am this morning." Bayley texted. "I sleep ok, honestly wish you were next to me." Sasha texted back. "I missed you too." Bayley replied back. Sasha was still texting Bayley when Braun pulled up to her office. "Boss, I know this might make you mad but I need to say it. Bayley is a good person and well liked. If you are going to have a relationship with her that's great but please try not to use her. Not sure if she could handle it." Braun tells Sasha. "Braun, thank you for that and the ride." Sasha said as she got out of the car.
