Nightmare

Sasha woke up suddenly and looked around wondering what woke her. Sasha noticed Bayley wasn't in bed. Sasha called out for Bayley but she didn't answer. Sasha got up and walked down stairs looking for Bayley. Sasha went into the living room and seen Bayley father beating Bayley. "Hey get the fuck off her you asshole." Sasha yelled at Bayley father. "Don't worry, once I'm done here you will be next. I'll show you how you should feel when you are with a man. You will forget about this loser." Bayley father said. Sasha couldn't believe what she was seeing and she tried to help Bayley but she couldn't move. Sasha noticed Bayley wasn't moving anymore and felt that she loss the will to live without Bayley.

Bayley father stood up and started walking a towards Sasha. "I'm going to enjoy every minute I have with you. The best part this can last for a few days or even weeks. You can scream all you want but no one will save you." He said as he got closer to Sasha. Sasha tried again but she couldn't get her legs to move. Sasha started to cry and prayed Bayley would wake up. Just before Bayley father could touch her, he fell to the floor. Sasha looked up to see a bloody Bayley standing there with her crutch in her hands. Bayley fell into Sasha arms and said, "I love you and thank you for bring hope back into my life." With that Bayley took her last breath and died in Sasha arms.

Sasha woke up crying not knowing where she was at. Sasha realize she still was in bed and realized she wasn't alone. All of sudden she felt two arms wrapped around her trying to calm her down. "Sasha it's ok, your safe. No one going to hurt you." Bayley tells her. "Oh my god Bayley, your alive and ok." Sasha said through tears. "Babe, I'm ok beside my leg hurting. It was only a nightmare and you are safe here." Bayley reinsured Sasha. "I thought I lost you. Your father was beating you and than he was going to attack me. He said once he's done with me I would know how it feels to be with a man and I would forget a loser like you. I tried to move but my legs wouldn't do it. Before he could touch me you hit him with your crutch. You than fell into my arms and passed away." Sasha said through tears.

"It's ok, I would never let him get close to you. It was only a dream and you are safe." Bayley said again to Sasha. Bayley pulled Sasha close to her and felt Sasha calm down. "I won't let that man get close to you again Bayley. You are the most important person in my life. I don't know what I would do without you." Sasha said still crying. Sasha felt Bayley kiss the top of her head while rubbing her back to help her calm down. Soon Sasha fell back to sleep with Bayley holding her. Bayley laid there thinking about what her mom had said at dinner.

Bayley expected her father to show up one day and she was ready for the visit. Bayley knew she had taken self defense classes to protect herself after she took the second beating. But she knew she wouldn't survive a third beating if it happened again. Bayley wasn't sure how to tell Sasha what the doctors had told her before she left the hospital. Bayley thought back to that day, "Bayley everything looks good but I have to warn you about taking another beating like you did you won't survive. Even if you did you can end up being a vegetable or in a coma that you might never come out of." The doctors tell Bayley. "I understand, I will be careful." Bayley said. "We will monitor your condition in Boston and keep track. I know you can heel and live a long happy life. But I don't want you to take risk. I don't want you to get anywhere near that condition down the road." The doctors tell her.

"I will keep up on my appointments I promise." Bayley reassure them. Bayley felt Sasha hold her a little tighter as she continued to sleep. Bayley thought about the brain scan test she had done at the hospital. Her doctor had meet them there so she could make sure everything was ok. "The scans look good, it doesn't look like you have a concussion. But I want you to come to my office on Tuesday and we will run another test. You do have a sprained knee and ankle so I need you to stay off the leg for a couple of weeks." The doctor said. "Thank you for running the scan and making sure everything is ok." Bayley said. "No problem, I know what is a risk and it was good thing you texted me. By the way congrats on the championship." The doctor said before releasing Bayley to Sasha.

When they arrive at dinner Bayley could tell her mom had that concern look when Sasha said they stopped by the ER to checkout her injuries. When Lita got up to hug Bayley she asked, "was everything ok?" "Yes, no concussion was found." Bayley whispered back to mom. Bayley noticed her mom still had a concern look on her face. "Is everything ok? Your mom doesn't seem to believe us that your ok." Sasha asked. "She just worried from past issue." Bayley tells Sasha. Bayley knew she was going to have to tell Sasha because she didn't want any secret between them.

Bayley decided to get out of bed and go down stairs. Bayley was looking for stuff to make coffee and to cook breakfast. Sasha woke up and realized Bayley wasn't in bed. Sasha jumped out of bed and went down stairs to look for Bayley. Sasha found Bayley in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Sasha went and hugged Bayley from behind. Sasha didn't want to cause any pain to her leg. "Good morning my love. I was worried I was having the same nightmare again." Sasha said. "Sorry, I didn't want to wake you." Bayley said. "I would have preferred you to wake me. Is something bothering you my love." Sasha asked.

"Yes, what you told me about your nightmare and there something I need to share with you." Bayley said setting the food on the counter. "Ok, is everything ok?" Sasha asked worried. "I'm ok, but after you told me about your nightmare I needed to tell you what I was told before I moved out here." Bayley said. Sasha was still concerned Bayley was going to tell her. "I know you noticed my mom concern when we informed her that we went to the ER." Bayley said. "I did notice she seemed really concern but I figured that is normal thing." Sasha said. "Well there more to it than that. The last beating I took, I was informed that I wouldn't survive another one. I would either end up as vegetable or end up in a coma that I might never wake up from." Bayley tells Sasha.

"Bayley, why didn't you tell me this earlier? Is that why that doctor showed up to run tests on you?"Sasha asked. "Yes, I check in with her every two months and she does brain scan on me. I see her more often during basketball season. I know I should have told you sooner but I try not to let this condition run my life." Bayley said. "I do understand that but I want to know if there anything else I need to know about your health. I don't want to lose you and want to make sure you have the best care. I want to go with you for now on to your appointments as well." Sasha said.

"Thank you, that would be nice to have someone go with me. My doctor did ask me to see her on Tuesday to run another test. It's nice to finally tell someone about this condition." Bayley said. "Are you telling me you've never told Becky about this?" Sasha asked. "No, I didn't want her to worry about me anymore than what she does now. Like I said after you told me about your nightmare and that I died in your dream. You got me thinking and I knew I needed to tell you. I'm sorry about all this and I could understand if you don't want to marry me. I don't want my health to define are relationship." Bayley said. "I still want to marry you and spend my life with you. Your health is a issue we can deal with together. I will not let your father get close to you ever again." Sasha said kissing Bayley. "How did I get so lucky to have you come into my life? You really did save me." Bayley said returning Sasha kiss.
