Niamh's POV (one week later)
"Jeremy stop it." I laughed as he kissed the back of my neck, distracting me from my work. "I thought you had a meeting you had to go to?"
Jeremy kissed the back of my neck again. "I want to take you for a romantic walk in the park."
I sighed. "That sounds lovely, but if I don't get this done, I'll never get my son back."
Stepping in front of me, Jeremy took my face in his hands and pressed his lips to mine. At first it was soft and hesitant, but soon it grew hungry and more persistant. Jeremy picked me up and set me in his lap, rubbing my thigh and kissing me. My heart thumped in my chest almost painfully. His hands seemed to burn into my thighs and it was hard for me to catch my breath.
When we pulled apart, I was yet again panting. "I am so lucky your work is having you stay here and open a new business. I am, what are the chances?"
Jeremy laughed. "Yea. What are the chances?"
My head still swam from the kiss and all I could think was, I have never felt this way this fast before. I frowned a little.
Jeremy kissed my lip. "What's wrong beautiful?"
Chewing on my lip, I thought about what to say. "Jeremy, don't you think we're moving a bit fast? I met you, what, a week ago and already we're acting like we're exclusive."
Smiling his wonderfully charming smile, Jeremy said, "Not when you feel this way we are. I care about you, a lot. I might even say I already love you. And I'd say you already loved me. People fall in love in seconds and get married in days. If you think about it, we're moving pretty slow."
I smiled a little. "I suppose you're right. I hope you aren't already thinking about marriage."
Chuckling, he kiss my shoulder. "Only if you are, lovely. Now go get dressed. We're going out."
"Again?" I asked. "Gosh, you spoil me too much, Jeremy."
Jeremy laughed, and smacked my butt as I got up. "You have no idea princess."
As I walked to my bedroom, I chewed my lip. Is it weird that he never calls me Niamh? That he just calls me petnames? I shook my head. Quit trying to ruin things. He's the first man since Corbin that's even remotely showed interest in you. I walked into my room and quickly pulled on jeans and a t-shirt. I pulled on a jacket and stepped out into the living room.
"You look great. Let's go, lovely." He took my hand and led me from the house. I glanced back at the Fischer Muder paperwork partially regretful. I'll work extra hard when I get back...

Corbin's POV
When I came home from Angel Academy, Heath was sitting on the couch with my mom. He grinned and waved at me as I walked through the living room doorway. I picked him up. "Hey kid." He giggled and started talking in baby voice. I looked at mom. "Been ignoring him again?"
Mom shook her head. "Nope, but you will flip when you hear the word he taught himself from watching Dora."
I looked at Heath. "His first word? Poor Niamh. She won't know about it for another week or two. Her mom said this is a really tough case for her."
Mom scowled. "Where is Beth? Isn't she suppose to be watching him?" I shrugged and pulled out an orange juice.Mom snatched it from me. "Oh no you don't! You left the other one out so no more for you."
"It was for Heath."
"Mmhmm, I'm sure it was." She handed it back to me and I poured some into a sippy cup. "Hey, Heath why don't you tell Corbin what word you learned today." Heath watched me putting the cap onto the sippy cup. "Tell him. Say it."
Heath reached for the cup and I handed it to him.
"Heath obviously didn't learn-"
"Dada."
"-the word you thought he did." I stopped talking and mom smiled mischieviously at me. "I turned to Heath. "What did you say?"
"Dada!" Heath shouted, giggling.
I quickly shook my head and handed him to my mom. "No. Not funny mom. Make him stop."
"Corbin, he's saying it because he knows the truth. Why don't you?"
"Mom, this isn't funny. I am not his freaking father. Now make him stop."
Heath giggled and gummed his sippy cup. Addaline walked in from the back, probably just woke up, and kissed me. She smiled at Heath, but it wasn't genuine. She was like my mom and thought Heath was my kid. Both of them were crazy.
"Mom, if he was my kid, Niamh would have told me."
She shook her head. "Not after what you did to her. I know I wouldn't."
"That's you. Niamh isn't selfish like you are. I mean, she's working her ass off right now, probably missing her son to death."

Niamh's POV
Jeremy and I walked through the park together, our fingers intertwined. I got jealous glares from the girls and I couldn't help but laugh. Jeremy was one of the most attractive men I've ever seen, and he could care less about women that looked like super models. Heck, he seemed to think I looked like one.
We stopped near the fountain and he leaned down to kiss me. I eagerly stood on my tip toes to kiss him, our lips touching and making my heart race. He pulled my body against his and stuck his tongue in my mouth, exploring. He never seemed to get enough of me. When we pulled apart, I did something that seemed to surprise us both.
"Do you want to spend the night at my house tonight?" For the past few nights I've held my ground and kept him from staying over, but there's only so many spicy kisses a girl can take before her primal instincts take over.
Jeremy smiled down at me. "I thought you'd never ask."
We quickly hailed a taxi and went back to my place. Before I had even removed my shoes, Jeremy had me against the wall. He kissed me, lifting me up with my back pressed against the wall and my legs wrapped around his waist. Yanking off my shoes, he trailed tantalizingly sweet kisses down my neck and shoulder which made my heart beat painfully fast in my chest. He ground his hips against mine and I moaned. We threw our shirts to the side and he carried me to my room, accidently knocking my notes off of the table. Not that I really cared at the moment anyway.
He dropped me on my bed and we quickly shed the rest of our clothes. He leaned over the top of me, kissing my neck and teasing me. "W-wait," I panted,
"What's wrong," he asked, his voice laced with a little annoyance, that I ignored.
I reached into my bedside table and pulled out a condom. "Don't want to make the same mistake I did with Heath."

Corbin's POV
I sat at Millie's diner with Heath. Millie stood behind the counter, now free of a baby belly, and rubbing her chin. Finally, I sighed. "What Millie?"
"Heath and you look awfully alike."
I groaned, "Millie, not you too. Mom and Addie won't leave me alone about it."
Millie leaned foreward on the counter. "Well, don't you see the resemblance?"
Sighing, I looked at Heath. "Of course I do, but if he were mine Niamh would have told me. I know she would have. Even if she hated me, she wouldn't keep my child a secret from me."
Millie nodded. "You're right, you're right." She smiled at Heath and made a face, which he gladly copied. I smiled at him and ruffled his hair. "It's a shame he's not yours. You are amazing with him, and he seems to love you a lot."
I tried to smile, but I'm sure it looked more like a flinch. I don't know how many times I've hoped he was mine, or how many times I've yelled at myself for being stupid. If Niamh and I had a kid together, it would seriously complicate an already complicated situation. I went to answer Millie but an extremely feril voice from the door stopped me.
"Corbin, what the hell are you doing with my son?"
