Most of you were confused in the last chapter 😂🤔 buy didn't you see the last chapter was title 'confused' ? Well I am also confused to so let's find out what to do next.
"Head pastor, welcome," Mr and Mrs Osagbai greeted. The tension got thicker than before as everywhere got extremely silent.
The head pastor, Mr Fredrick looked at everyone in the room and instantly felt the tension. He shivered a bit before adjusting his recommended glasses to make sure he wasn't seeing double.
"Peace be unto you all," he finally said walking gently to sit down before asking the reason for his urgent attention. He took a seat and prayed for some seconds before asking what the situation was about.
"The past has repeated itself again!" Isere mother cried out, tears rolling down her cheek as she paced around the room confusing everyone except her husband.
Isere faced the floor, making no attempt to raise her head up at all to see or greet the pastor. "What is going on?" Pastor Fredrick asked clearly baffled by Isere's mother statement.
"Pastor, you won't believe what I am about to tell you, the church name has been tainted by those who the youths look up to," Mrs Williams spat out confusing Pastor Fredrick.
"What is happening?" Pastor Fredrick asked, he didn't understand what she just said, neither did he understand the situation on ground.
"Katherine here is pregnant and for no one else but her father!" Mrs Williams spat out.
"Jesus is Lord!" Pastor Fredrick spoke. He began chanting prayers whilst clicking his fingers.
"I never did such! I would never commit such outrageous crime!" Isere father defended. He had a bland facial expression as he spoke in anger.
"Oisanobua rejemime!" Isere mother shouted again riling up isere who was still on the floor. "Stop calling the name of the Lord in vain!" Isere spat out taking he mother by shock. (Lord have mercy)
Her mother couldn't believe it, she couldn't believe it was isere who had just raised her voice on her. She couldn't believe it was isere who had just disrespected her. "Isere is it me you are talking to?" She asked, placing her hand on her chest.
"If there is another woman here barking other than you here," she snarled making her mother eyes pop out like that of an owl.
"Calm down everyone, I need to understand the situation first. Pastor Mrs Williams, you mean, Katherine here was impregnated by her father?" Pastor Williams asked wanting to confirm if what he heard was true.
"Yes pastor," Mrs Williams confirmed.
"I never did such, I swear to you I never did such! God watches us all and I'd never do such!" Her father lamented.
