Isere panicked, her heart racing fast wondering the reason for her Mother's call.
"Good evening ma," she greeted, trying to talk as calm as possible.
"Child of the world! When have you started keeping things from me Isere?! Why didn't you tell me your matric is coming ehn?!" Her mother voice echoed aloud through the phone making her remove the phone from her ear.
Isere sighed, it was because of her matric. Who could have told her mother, she doesn't want them to come, they won't let her enjoy herself.
"I forgot ma," she replied.
"You forgot?! Isere oisanobua rejemime!" Her mother spat out. (Lord have mercy)
"Isere Osagbai! You are forgetting things, what are you doing that makes you forget things ehn?! That was how you were taken out from Mr and Mrs Bible challenge, at your age you are forgetting. Just expect your father and I to be at Osun state this Friday ehn, we will be residing in an hotel." Her mother word pierced through into her heart making her angry.
"Okay ma," she spat out.

Isere parents arrived on friday afternoon, but before they came, they told her. The rest of the weekdays were boring to her because thoughts of her parents coming were wandering in her mind, making her mood sour.
Ejiro didn't come back to the hostel until wednesday, surprisingly Morgan returned to the hostel that same day.
Ejiro had so wanted to start up a fight with her but Isere told her not to do something that wouldn't have an end.
The only interesting moment this week for Isere was when she got woken up by Kelvin's call and slept after hearing his voice. She hadn't seen him since the night he dropped her. Their departments were located in different places and she could only go find him when she had a free lecture day which she hadn't have asides the one last year.
Isere parent came to her hostel immidately they reached Osun state. Isere welcomed them into her room, luckily for her Morgan and Ejiro was out.
"We will be going to the hotel now, we just came to see you first," Her father said.
"God bless you my child, let us pray," he mother spoke. As soon as her mother started praying, Isere phone began to ring.
Her mother didn't stop praying and neither did Isere phone stop to ring. After her mother was done, the phone rang for the third time. "Why is your phone ringing Isere?" Her mother asked, Isere father left the room.
