Cato was taking a quick break from training when his trainer sat beside him.

“Aren’t you tired?” he asked him while they observed the others who are still in training.

“I’ve been doing this since I was young that I forgot what that word meant.” Cato answered nonchalantly.

“You don’t have to act tough all the time though. You’re a human after all.”

Cato was about to say something when he got interrupted.

“Let me ask you again, aren’t you tired?”

Cato was confused, he doesn’t know where the conversation is leading to.

“Aren’t you tired of hiding what you really feel inside just because they expect you to be tough? Aren’t you tired of pretending that Clove doesn’t mean anything to you?”

His trainer’s question caught him off guard, he can feel his face turning red. His trainer chuckled upon seeing his expression. “There’s no point in denying it, Cato. I’ve seen the way you look at each other.”

Cato sighed, “I am tired.” he said.

“Then do yourself a favor and be happy. The games isn’t worth it.”

Cato’s lips formed into a smile as he caught sight of a familiar brunette, their eyes met and she smiled back at him. No one looked away as if they’re the only ones there.

“That one right there is worth it.” the trainer said before he left.
