Percy

Percy felt like feeling things was almost impossible now. But he couldn't be sure. (see what I did there??). Almost every inch of him was hurting bad now. He was pretty sure that he'd die if the blood in his lungs "froze" too. He didn't know how to feel about that. He wasn't happy about dying, since it was something he spent his entire life not to do. But somewhere deep down, Percy felt a weird kind of relief. Somewhere deep down he was also curious and he wanted to see how others would react. He wondered how everyone else was doing. His thoughts kept drifting to Annabeth's smiling face, and how she'd probably want an explanation if he died. If he had to admit it, remembering Annabeth was mostly what got him through. He'd occasionally smile, and Marcus the janitor would ask him what was so funny. Percy would mostly reply with a sarcastic "I laugh in the face of death." And watch Marcus roll his eyes. Life wasn't fun. But it was all he had. And Percy wasn't particularly happy with the fact that it was going to end, but looking back, he did have fun.

And that was it. That was all he thought about.

That was it.

(time skip)

Percy was certain he was living his last days. They told him that he'd still be alive, but he didn't buy it. He could feel his breathing slowing down into nothing. Marcus threw him concerned glances every now and then, and Percy would return them with a feeble smile. Obviously, Percy either looked pathetic or terrifying. Or both. Because Marcus would either shake his head, sigh or look down at him with pity. Percy hoped Marcus would actually bother to smile at him before he died.

"you don't look okay," Marcus told him, after he kept his broom and everything back where they were supposed to be.

Percy gave him a quick nod. He couldn't afford to speak- to much breath usage.

Marcus looked at him with something that was either pity, or extreme pity.

"how old are you, again?"

"what's the date?" Percy managed to ask.

Marcus looked at his watch. "August 6th."

"16." Percy said.

Marcus looked at him with pity and guilt. Percy wanted him to stop, but he was glad somebody cared about him.

"you need to sleep." Marcus told him. "please sleep."

Percy looked at him at him with a questioning look on his face. Then he nodded. Marcus sighed and smiled at him. Then he did what he always did, walk out. Percy made sure Marcus was gone before he closed his eyes.

Then he fell into a dreamless sleep.

Morgan

Morgan had found the footage. It wasn't fun to watch, but SHE HAD FOUND THE FOOTAGE. Sure, she had to watch her mom die painfully, but nothing seemed to Percy's fault. He seemed more shocked than anyone else. But she'd found it. After all the hard work and trying to convince Kale she was actually on his side and desperately in love with him, FINALLY. She was sneaking the pen-drive into her dad's room, when she thought she should tell Percy. After she found him asleep, she decided to leave him alone. He probably needed sleep. On her way to her dad's room again, she crashed into Kale.

"oh hi," Morgan said, in her I'm- so -in -love- with- Kale- voice. Which of course, was fake.

"hey," Kale said. "where you going?"
