chapter 2- Monster Teeth

Tony was sitting in his lab, half asleep and half drinking coffee. He hit his head on the table and woke up immediately. The house was silent. Pepper was gone for Morgan's little class play. It was something for mothers only. Tony was bored. He saw the empty container in which Sally had given him the waffles.

"What the hell," he said to himself, as he stood up and put on his coat. He grabbed the container and walked out the door, crashing right into Happy.

"He buddy, where have you been?" Tony said happily.

"I've been-" Happy started.

"That's great buddy," Tony said, "drive me somewhere."

"Since when have you NOT driven yourself?" Happy asked

"Since today," Tony said, getting in the car. Before they knew it, they were in front of Percy's house. Percy wasn't sitting in front of the house, so it looked kind of empty

"So you're saying," Happy said, "you bought me here to meet a five year old?"

"Yeah," Tony said, getting out of the car, "and you'll like him."

They made their way towards the door, and Tony knocked.

"Hold up!" Sally's voice ordered. She came to the door after a while, carrying Percy, who was fast asleep with his head on her shoulder.

"Hi Tony," Sally said, "what brings you here?"

"Uh I had to return this," Tony said, waving the container in front of her face.

"Oh yes I've been looking for that," Sally told him, "come in."

"This is Happy, by the way," Tony introduced.

Sally smiled at Happy, who smiled back.

Sally put Percy on an armchair, where he just snuggled up and slept. Tony observed that even in his sleep, he moved a lot.

" he's got ADHD," Sally told him, when she noticed Tony's expression.

"oh," was all Tony could say.

"and dyslexia too," Sally continued, "it's really hard for him at school."

Tony nodded. Soon, Happy and Sally got into a conversation about the best way of making spaghetti. Tony would sometimes chime in with things he found online, but apart form that, he said nothing.

Because of all the noice, Percy woke up. He sat up and blinked, like he was still trying to figure out if he was in Earth or somewhere else. Tony, who was sitting on the chair next to him, was the only one who noticed.

"hey," Tony said.

"hey," Percy said, sitting up, "what are they talking about?"

" I have not idea," Tony truthfully said, "something about food."

Percy nodded, " I'm hungry, what about you?"

" same, kid," Tony replied, "you wanna get something to eat?"

"Do you HAVE something to eat?" Percy asked.

"We can go out," Tony offered, "just you and me. Like the sound of that?"

"I guess," Percy said.

"Okay then," Tony said out loud, "I'm taking your kid out for food okay, Sally?"

Before Sally could say anything, Tony said, "it wasn't a question."

"Fine," said Sally, "but have him home before 8"
