Henlo. i have so much work that i have to submit tomorrow. sorry for the short chapter tho.

Pepper

Pepper had been having a bad feeling about everything ever since she woke up. The feeling grew worse when those people started taking them somewhere about an hour ago. Pepper started to panic when she noticed a BIG door way ahead of them. She sucked in a breath and grabbed Percy's arm. She just wanted to make sure they were both together. Percy didn't even question it. He gave Pepper a 'I think it's okay' look and kept walking. When they opened the gates, Pepper noticed two things: it was huge and completely empty, with pillars surrounded a huge circle that was square in the middle of the room. It was barely even a room. The place was HUGE. The second thing was that there were two poles with shackles attached to them. The shackles were more like handcuffs, enough hold a person in place, but not allowing the person to move. There was also a big glass window somewhere high in the ceiling, like a looking glass. There was no one on the other side. Pepper also noticed security cameras all over the place. This must be something like a prison. Pepper thought. Why else would they have CCTV all around?

Pepper just barely noticed when Kale kicked Percy hard on his knees, forcing him down with a grunt. Then a guard literally sat on Percy and pinned his arms behind him, cuffing them that way. Then the guard hit hi head hard on the floor. Pepper couldn't do but helplessly watch as she was pushed towards the two poles and cuffed.

"you might want to watch this," Kale told Percy. Percy looked up at him and his eyes widened with realization and fear. He started to squirm, but it was useless.

Kale grinned like he was enjoying. Which, Pepper supposed, he was. He went over to a pole and clicked something, and a square box-like thing popped up out of the ground. Grinning wider, Kale pressed a button. At first, Pepper felt nothing. Then a vibration. And then suddenly a very weird feeling spread over her. It wasn't hurting. It was just uncomfortable. She herd the soft punch of someone pressing another button. Then the weird feeling grew worse. And worse. And worse. And WORSE. Until it was just pure pain. It felt like electricity. It hurt like fire. Pepper couldn't help it; she screamed. It was a scream that hurt her throat, made it feel raw. But not better.

"stop." She heard Percy say. "STOP!" he practically yelled.

The pain grew worse. Pepper screamed again.

"STOP IT." Percy screamed again. "DO IT TO ME INSTEAD!"

From worse to worst.

"STOP IT." Percy sounded almost as bad as Pepper thought she sounded. "please," he whispered. "stop it."

It stopped. Pepper couldn't breathe. Her lungs felt like they'd been baked. Her muscles felt sore. Her head hurt.

She could only steady her breathing before it started again. It lasted for a shorter while this time, but it nearly killed her. Pepper couldn't breathe now. Each breath hurt. She knew that if it happened, she'd definitely die.

"your turn to watch," Kale spat at Pepper. Then he flipped something in his hands and told the guard to get off Percy. Kale took the guards place, and pressed Percy down harshly. Then he clicked something next to his ear. He told the guard to take a few steps back, before he clicked the thing next to Percy's ear. Percy didn't seem to have the same affect. Instead of staying normal, his face started to tighten. His eyes we shut. Percy touched his forehead to the ground and said something like "ahugh". Then he suddenly stopped moving and Kale removed his handcuffed. The moment Percy's hands dropped to his side, water started spilling out of his fingertips. Percy looked just as shocked as Pepper felt.

"how?" was all he could say.

"secrets," Kale whispered. "did no one tell you what that meant?" he leaned in closer. "it mean I can't tell you."

Pepper was shocked at how fast the water was rising. It nearly sloshed around Kale's ankles now. Then she felt the pain once again. This one for about a minute. Until the water was knee deep.

"say your goodbyes." Kale said, as everyone cleared out. The water was near her chest now. Her cuffs clicked open just as the door shut and the water rose above head level.

Holding her breath was hard. She had no breath to hold. She still swam over to Percy, who looked like he was trying to move. He looked at her and she knew that he knew too. His eyes were filled with so may emotions. Pain. Fear. Sadness. Terror.

Pepper kissed his forehead. "I love you." She whispered.

Then she let the current carry her away.

i'm sorry. 

for the late update i have way too much work and i'm just really stressed so i didn't really find the time to write. and sorry for the bad writing. 

i don't have much to say now sooooooo
