Okay, okay, I'm getting on with the story. There's a HUGE time gap here. I just wanted to get on to what happens. Also, the Trials of Apollo also takes place. Let's say the time line is a little messed up, because I have no idea how it's working. Ugh. Ignore the timeline.

(six months later 😅😁🙄)

Morgan

"any news from Fury?" Morgan asked Percy the moment he stepped in the house.

He shook his head. "and I assume you don't know anything, since you asked me?"

"you assume correct." Morgan slumped back onto the couch. It had been 6 months since Fury had told them that their parents had been kidnapped. After that they'd had no news from anyone. They couldn't even do anything. It was driving Morgan crazy. It was April now. They had no choice but to carry on.

Percy threw his bag on the armchair with so much carelessness that Morgan nearly cried. Then he sat next to her and took a deep breath.

"what's bothering you?" Morgan asked.

"I've been having dreams about them." Percy said without even facing her. "visions."

"what- what? Where are they? Percy?" Morgan asked.

"I don't want to talk about it." Percy snapped. "but they're in trouble."

"you don't say?" Morgan said, taken aback because he was suddenly being so rude.

He looked at her with his "sad puppy eyes" and then looked away again.

"sorry." Morgan whispered. "do you think we can..." she trailed off.

"save them?" Percy completed. "you think you can?"

"don't underestimate me," Morgan smiled a little. "teach me how to shoot a gun and I'll be unstoppable."

"if I teach you how to shoot a gun, I wouldn't be alive for long." Percy said.

Morgan laughed. "you've controlled yourself, I think I can too."

Percy flashed her a grin. "even if we go, Fury'll kill us."

"I honestly don't care what Fury thinks anymore." Morgan said.

Percy half raised his eyebrows. "um okay."

Morgan sighed. "let's call Fury. Tell him-"

"no." Percy said suddenly, his eyes lighting up like he was going to put shaving foam instead of whipped cream on someone's pie. "let's just show up at their doorstep, be sad and business-like, expect him to say no to everything, convince him in the end, expect it all to go wrong, then wing the heck out of it."

"I see you've made a plan." Morgan grinned. "plan B?"

"who has a plan B?" Percy asked.

"just in case."

"maybe we don't have to show up at their doorstep, you know?" Percy said after thinking. "we could just climb through his window at night and scare the crap out of Fury." He paused. "okay let's make plan B plan A, and plan A plan B. I like plan B better."

Morgan rolled her eyes. "fine. When are you teaching me how to fire that gun?"

(time skip)

"arms STRAIGHT Morgan." Percy said in a tired voice.

"they ARE straight!" Morgan complained. "how much straighter do you want them to be."

"that's not straight, Morgan. Have you forgotten how to use your arms?"
