Lucy Pevensie ran across the road in an obvious hurry. She didn't even stop to see if there were any cars in her way.
"Mind yourself, love!" a man bellowed to her, as he almost hit her with his automobile.
"I'm sorry!" she apologized, then rushed off again.
Emma and Susan Pevensie were reading the day's paper at the news truck. A skinny looking shy boy walked up to Susan.
"You go to Saint Finbar's?" he questioned her.
"That's right," Susan answered shortly. She turns around and looked at Emma with pleading eyes. Emma just giggled and ignored her, listening in as the boy starts talking again.
"I go to Henson House, across the road," he explained.
Susan didn't answer him and continued reading the paper.
"I've seen you," he trailed off. "Sitting by yourself. And you sister, of course." he glances to Emma.
"Yes well, I prefer to be left alone," Susan explains.
"Me, too!" the boy responded, obviously not getting the point. Emma snickered but tried to play it off as a cough. Susan glared at her and the boy glanced at her awkwardly.
"What's your name?" he wondered, breaking the peaceful silence, yet again. It took Susan a minute to answer him, but her response was hilarious, only to Emma though.
"Phyllis." she huffed. Just then Lucy came running up to the both of them.
"Emma, Susan!" she yelled blowing Susan's cover. "You better come quickly!" she gasped urgently to the two older girls. Emma and Susan placed the papers down and grabbed their trunks running after Lucy.
They ran into the underground's entrance and began to hear chanting. Emma knew what was happening as soon as she saw the crowd of kids. The three girls pushed through the crowd, but Susan and Lucy stopped close to the front. Emma, being Peter's twin and not wanting him to fight four boys alone, jumped in to help. She always got into trouble at school for wearing trousers instead of a skirt but it was for moments like these, that she was grateful for them.

"Emma!" Lucy and Susan screamed as they saw her punch a boy

"Emma!" Lucy and Susan screamed as they saw her punch a boy. The boy looked shocked and he backed down when he saw it was a girl. Emma swung at the boy again but missed this time. He hit her in the gut making her groan. Emma and this one boy began to battle it out. Emma was overly grateful for the fighting skills she had learned in Narnia.
Soon after Emma began to fight as well, another boy came to beat up on her. She was in way over her head, and she knew it, but continued to fight anyway, just wanting to help her twin.
