Emma and Lucy rode out the back of the mountain on Caspian's horse. They glided swiftly through the trees, trying their best to keep quiet.
"Ride!" A Telmarine man yelled from a hill above the girls.
"They've seen us!" Lucy said to Emma anxiously. Emma looked back and forced the horse to go faster.
They rode to a clearing, and Emma got off.
"Take the reins." She ordered Lucy.
"What are you doing." Lucy pleaded with her sister.
"I'm sorry Lucy. But it looks as if you'll be going alone after all." Emma chuckled. The oldest Pevensie girl slapped the horse on its rear, it leaving with Lucy.
Emma notched an arrow to her bow and waited.
Lucy rode a little bit away then slowed the horse down. She looked back at her older sister with tears in her eyes.
Emma looked to Lucy through the trees. Lucy only then rode away on the horse.
Emma looked ahead of her having heard the Telmarine men. She raised her bow and waited for the men to show themselves. Emma had begun to shoot the men as they rode to her.
She had hit the men right in the heart making them fall off their horses. The last Telmarine man was too close for her to shoot, so she had to duck his sword attack.
This last Telmarine knocked her down with his horse.
Emma fell to the ground and backed up to avoid his upcoming sword attack. But just before his horse moved, a yell distracted him. On another up coming horse was Caspian. The young prince began to slash at the man.
After Caspian successfully killed the Telmarine, he rode up to the girl with his hand out.
"Are you sure you don't need that horn?" he chuckled at her.
