A BATTLE IS STARTING

Peter sat alone in the room with the broken stone table

Peter sat alone in the room with the broken stone table.  He was looking at the carving of Aslan.
Emma and Lucy walked up to him, sitting on either of his sides.
Lucy sighed when Peter didn't look at either of them.
"You're lucky, you know," Peter said to Lucy.
"What do you mean?" Lucy asked confused at this statement.
"To have seen him," Peter explained. "I wish he'd just given me some sort of proof."
"Maybe we're the ones who need to prove ourselves to him," Emma said as she placed her head on his shoulder.
Peter looked at her and sighed.  Both Emma and Lucy grabbed his hands.
"Pete, you'd better come quickly," Edmund said walking up to the three.
The four Pevensie siblings got up and ran to an opening. There, Caspian stood.

Telmarine soldiers were marching across the field. Their numbers were greater than the Narnians. Catapults at the ready.

Reepicheep and his mice men stood on rocks, watching.

Lucy looked around at her siblings and Caspian. Caspian and Peter made eye contact for just a second.

There was an armored man on a white horse. This man was Lord Miraz. Now, King Miraz.

"Cakes and kettledrums, that's your next big plan?" Trumpkin asked. Some Narnian soldiers and the Pevensie's were in a closed-off room.
"Sending a little girl into the darkest parts of the forest, alone?" Trumpkin asked pointing at Lucy.
"It's our only chance," Peter said.
"And she won't be alone!" Emma defended Peter.
Trumpkin walked up to Lucy, the worry he felt was plastered on his face. "Haven't enough of us died already?" he asked the Pevensie's.
"Nikabrik was my friend too," Trufflehunter said quietly. "But he lost hope. Queen Lucy hasn't, and neither have I."
Reepicheep drew his blade and crossed it over his chest. "For Aslan," he said solemnly.
"For Aslan." A bear said to the defense of Peter's decision.
"Then I'm going with you." Trumpkin said to Lucy.
"No, we need you here," Lucy said placing a hand on his shoulder.
"We have to hold them off until Lucy and Emma get back," Susan explained.
"If I may," Caspian began, sitting on some steps with his professor. "Miraz may be a tyrant and a murderer," He trailed off standing up. "But as king, he is subject to the traditions and expectations of his people." Caspian explained.
By this point, he was only looking at Peter, but now, he shifted his eyes to Emma.
"There is one, in particular, that may buy us time." He said with a small smile.  Peter looked around, for anyone with any objections.  No one said anything and the room was silent.

Miraz looked through a telescope, watching a giant, a faun, and Edmund walk forward.
"Perhaps they intend to surrender." General Glozelle suggested.
"No," Miraz lowered the telescope. "They are much too noble for that."  Miraz handed the telescope to Glozelle and looked back to the upcoming Narnians.
