Edmund stood on the top tower, flipping his flashlight around when it fell to the level below him. The clanging of the light on the ground forced a soldier to walk out of a door.
When this soldier found the flashlight, he clicked it on, blinding himself.
A bell was then rung, and the soldier looked around. He pointed the flashlight up to the sky, flinging it about. The centaur looked down to Nikabrik, obvious confusion on his face.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Nikabrik wondered aloud.Edmund jumped down onto the soldier.
"We're under attack!" a Telmarine soldier bellowed.
"Sound the alarm!" another exclaimed. Telmarine men began racing around to grab their weapons and get out to the court.
"Men! Grab your bows!" another Telmarine soldier yelled.
Emma, Caspian, Peter, and Susan ran down the winding hallways.
"Peter!" Susan called, coming to a stop.
"Our troops are just outside!" Peter began. "Come on!"
Emma held onto her arm. She, Susan, and Caspian shared a glance before taking off after Peter. The four teens ran through the court to the gates.
"Now, Ed now!" Emma yelled to her younger brother.
"Signal the troops!" Peter continued.
"I'm a bit busy, Pete!" Edmund called back, fighting with a soldier. Edmund head-butted the soldier and they began to fight back. Another Telmarine came to aid his fellow soldier. Edmund lost grip of his sword and grabbed the flashlight. He hit the soldier twice across the face, knocking him out.
"Oh," Edmund groaned looking at the now, turned off flashlight. He began to smack it, trying desperately to click it back on.Peter ran the fastest to the gates and began turning the wheel to open them. Emma, Caspian, and Susan run-up closely behind him.
"Peter, it's too late! We have to call it off while we can!" Susan told him.
"No, I can still do this!" Peter grunted, turning the wheel. Emma looked at the oncoming Telmarines.
"Help me!" Peter begged. Emma and Caspian were first to run to Peter's aid, Susan was hesitant.Trumpkin and the mice men struggled to turn the wheel they were at. The drawbridge slowly began to open.
All the Narnian soldiers were lying in wait for their signal from Edmund.
"Exactly who are you doing this for, Peter?" Emma pushed her twin. He never answered her and the four teens continued to struggle against the weight of the crane.
The Telmarine soldiers yelled and shouted at each other, running to the Narnian protectors.
Edmund stood on his perch, smacking the flashlight to turn back on. "Come on!" He groaned.
And as if the Gods had heard his pleads, the light clicked back on. He began clicking the light on and off, signaling the Narnia soldiers.
The centaur raised his sword, and yelled, "Charge!"
The Narnian people ran across the draw bridge to begin the fierce battle.
"For Narnia!" Peter yelled, joining the battle.
Caspian unsheathed his sword, Emma and Susan notched arrows in their bows.
