Lucy rode through the wood as fast as she could.
A telmarine rode closely behind her with a crossbow in hand.
A creature ran next to Lucy but was hidden by the trees.
In the next clearing, the creature ran up and growled loudly.
Both horses neighed and Lucy's horse jumped up, causing Lucy to fall off. The young queen looked at a lion with a bewildered face. The lion jumped over Lucy and attacked the telmarine that had been following her just moments ago.

Lucy walked up a small hill and looked at the lion. She smiled as she realized who it was.
"Aslan!" she gasped and ran to him. Her hug was so powerful that it knocked them both to the ground.

Aslan chuckled and hugged the girl back.
"I knew it was you! The whole time, I knew it!" Lucy explains sitting down in the leaves. "But, the others didn't believe me." she chuckled.
"And why would that stop you from coming to me?" Aslan asks his old friend.
Lucy looked around guilt-stricken. "I'm sorry. I was too scared to come alone," she explained with a sad face. "Why couldn't you show yourself? Why couldn't you come roaring in and save us like last time?" Lucy questions him.
"The same things never happen twice, dear one," he explained.
"If I had come earlier, would everyone who died," Lucy trailed off. "Could I have stopped that?"
"We can never know what would have happened, Lucy." Aslan tries to comfort the young girl. "But what will happen is another matter entirely."
"You mean you'll help?" Lucy asked with a smile playing on her lips.
"Of course." Aslan nodded. "As will you."
"Oh, I wish I was braver," Lucy said solemnly.
"If you were any braver, you'd be a lioness." Aslan complements the girl in front of him.

"Now, I think your friends have slept long enough, don't you?" Aslan stood up and roared into the sky

"Now, I think your friends have slept long enough, don't you?"
Aslan stood up and roared into the sky.

Trumpkin was battling some men when one knocked him to the ground.
Caspian threw a dagger and the man, cutting his throat. Trumpkin rolled out of the way just before the telmarine fell upon him.

Emma and Susan were shooting at people that were far away, and hitting people with their bows that were too close.

Edmund fought against two men at the same time.

Reepicheep yelled, "Come on!" and ran under the shields of the telmarines.

Caspian fought three upcoming men and was knocked down. He rolled into the trench in the earth.

Centaurs and Fauns jumped on the shields of the telmarines and slashed at them.

Caspian looked around and made eye contact with General Glozelle. Glozelle ran at Caspian with a spear in hand. He was about to stab the young prince but stopped.

He lowered his spear but a root from the ground grabbed him and knocked him unconscious

He lowered his spear but a root from the ground grabbed him and knocked him unconscious.
Caspian stood up and grabbed Peter's extended hand.
When he got back to the level of the main battle, he saw the trees all fighting. Trumpkin gave Caspian his sword back and the three Narnians walked back into the battle.

Sopespian looked worriedly at the new allies and ordered more catapults to be fired.

"Lucy," Peter said with a satisfactory nod to Caspian.

A catapult's rocks hit a tree down. This angered another tree next to it. This tree pushed its roots into the ground and they went all the way through the ground, and to the catapults, crushing them.
The Narnians cheered.
"For Aslan!" Peter yelled and the High Kings and Queens (that were there), The Most Ferocious Warrior, The Rightful Heir to the Telmarine Throne, and all the Narnians charged.

"We can defeat them if we draw them to the river!" a telmarine yelled to Lord Sopespian.
"We must regroup. To Beruna!" Sopespian yelled. "To the bridge!"
And with that, the Telmarines retreated.
