Personality Switch as Payback (Part 4)

Summary: Patrol with the Robins acting like one another is both entertaining and confusing to Bruce and the trio of villains featured

Patrol that night was very much interesting and even amusing if Bruce had to admit

Penguin, Joker and Harley all stared at the display before them. In front of them was Batman of course, but it was the rest of the bats that were confusing the trio of villains who had managed to escape Arkham. Before them stood the bat brats, but each wearing each other's costume for some reason!

"Umm did any of us get infected with that stupid virus or some other drug, cause I'm pretty sure I ain't seeing things?" Harley asked as she pointed towards the assembled group before her

"I don't believe we have Harley and is this supposed to be some sort of joke batsy?! I can barely tell which bat brat is which!" Joker cried out in alarm as he stared at each of the Robins

Penguin rolled his eyes and pointed his umbrella at each "The two tall ones are either Nightwing or Red Hood, the middle sized one is Red Robin and the short baby brat is Robin"

"Who you calling middle sized you dumb witted bird! Heck I'm slightly taller than you are!"

"I'll have you know that my height is actually the average sized height for those my age"

"Tt. You call that average? I was already taller than that when I was your age. Maybe that's why you always mess up and are a liability"

"Now Robin we talked about this. You need to be start being civil to your brothers and stop criticizing everyone as a counter argument"

"Ha as if the 'true heir to the Batman mantle' could ever be civil" Tim stated with his phone out

"Tt. I wouldn't go on joking like you are Hood; after all you can barely be civil yourself. What was it Nightwing said was your motto again... shoot first ask questions never I believe" Dick said with a monotone voice again as Damian laughed at what was said

"Laugh it up nerd. Listen here your highness, I don't need you telling me what I can or can't do. I take orders from only one person: me" Tim angrily stated

"No wonder you got killed by Clown face over there" Dick smugly said pointing over at Joker who didn't seem to be in his usual self

Penguin was seen staring in disbelief and if this were an anime, he'd be sweat dropping at the display

Joker turned towards Batman, who seemed to be just as lost as they were "Hey Batsy! What's wrong with all your flock of birds here?"

Batman did something that the trio never expected, he shrugged his shoulders "I have absolutely no idea" he said in a deadpan tone

"Aren't you the 'World's Greatest Detective'? How could ya possibly not know what's going on with ya bat brats?" Harley asked glancing at the ongoing argument of... tall Robin and short Red Robin?

"I personally gave up trying to figure this out since it was doing nothing, but giving me a headache" Batman revealed to the assembled villains all of whom looked at the scene in front of them and looked slightly shocked to see a fight going on

"Knock it off Hood, Robin... Red any chance you can help out here?" Jason asked

Damian just had a smirk on his face, which unfortunately couldn't be seen by the face mask on him and shook his head "Sorry, no can do Nightwing. Unlike you, I don't feel like getting caught up in that mess going on and would much prefer to watch it instead"

Jason sighed as he thought if this was what his usual reaction was then he would need to maybe need to manage his emotions better cause dealing with these two was super hard... how on Earth does Dickiebird make it look easy, he could literally feel a headache beginning to form

"Hey! Aren't you suppose to be fighting us instead of yourselves?!" Penguin finally yelled out as the four bats turned towards the assembled trio and their mentor

"Look we'll get to you three later; this is something that should have been settled a long time ago" Tim explained since he actually did want a remake with Dick and this was his chance... even if he had to act like Jason did and Dick needed to act like Damian did

"As if you could ever beat me in combat" Dick stated in superiority and holding out his sword as if inviting the younger boy to challenge him

"It's on baby bat" Tim stated with narrowed eyes behind the hood as he took out the two swords that Jason normally had on him

Joker, Harley and Penguin could only gawk at the response, while Batman face palmed at what their answer was and rolled his eyes behind his mask "Here we go again" he mumbled in defeat and thought to himself on why it was he brought the four of them with him again?

By this point, the three villains had already forgotten their plans that they were planning on doing. Instead they, like Batman, were now thinking about either having being transported to a different dimension or they actually did really need to be in Arkham and get their psyches checked for experiences illusions

After what seemed like an eternity, Joker turned to Batman with a pleading look "Oh Batsy can't you do anything! These kids of yours are driving me nuts... which is actually quite surprising"

Batman crossed his arms and shook his head "I have already had my mind being pulled left and right just trying to figure this out and am at the point of tearing apart my hair in the process"

"Maybe we need to check over Batman again, since I can swear he actually made a joke" Damian said, careful not to call Batman father, just to throw the already confused villains of some more

"It was bound to happen again after a long time" Tim commented from his position on top of Dick, only to get the tables turned around and find himself pinned to the ground

Penguin, at this point had enough as he walked over to Batman "Just send me over to Arkham again. I believe I need the rest to see if my brain has been broken after doing a few jobs with that deranged clown"

Joker and Harley also seemed to be thinking the same idea as they literally begged Batman to take them back. To say Batman was shocked would be an understatement since this was the easiest patrol he ever had and all because the boys weren't being their usual self... maybe it actually was a good idea to bring them along... heck if it was always going to go this way than he could get use to their new personalities

And here we go the first day of the personality switch prank is over and that also means that this arc will soon be over as well in either the next chapter or the one following the next chapter. Also casually slips in slight Star Wars references and I used their civilian names just so it wouldn't be as confusing if I used their 'hero names'. I wanted this chapter to be the Robins mostly confusing Joker, Harley and Penguin to the point that they also feel as if they are going crazy as well... sorry if it isn't as good as the last few chapters in this arc, I was having a tough time just finishing this chapter.
