The Great Shopping Disaster!

Summary: The Wayne Boys are sent to go shopping for groceries before Jason gets a bright idea and finds themselves being filmed live by multiple people

"Explain to me what it is I'm currently looking at?" Bruce asks in a serious tone as he is seen holding his phone with a video playing something that was live 2 hours ago

Dick held a guilty look, Jason didn't bother hiding the smirk on his face, Tim looked sheepish and Damian was just indifferent on the whole situation. Bruce in turn just continued to glare at the four until Dick caved in and told the story of the great shopping disaster

Earlier that day
Alfred had entrusted the four Robins to go to the supermarket and get some groceries. He had given them each a copy of what they would need to buy. Of course, as soon as they arrived at the store that's when things had become chaotic

Jason had the bright idea of turning this shopping experience into a competition. They'd all split up into teams, Dick and Damian against Tim and Jason. Dick hadn't liked this idea at all at first, knowing this was going to end terribly... that is until Jason threatened his older brother with some blackmail matter he'd gotten from Tim which made Dick shut up and accept this with much reluctance

Dick should just be happy he decided to wear the face protector like Jason instead of the hospital masks like Tim and Damian had thrown on after being reminded by Alfred they still needed to wear these in order to enter the store

Seems bribing the manager hadn't been hard on Jason's part as he came back with a smiling manager who explained to them how this would work and that any damage done on their half, was to be billed to Bruce. When Tim asked Jason how much money he'd offered the manager, let's say it was best not to mention the amount he'd been told

"Ladies and gentlemen! People of all ages currently shopping. We are sorry to disturb your regular day here at Gotham's finest shopping department. However, today we bring you a sudden event. While this would normally never happen, we have been offered quite the huge amount of money for this event to take place. Now if you'll all turn to the big screen"

On the jumbo screen above, many glanced up to see the screen split in two. A drone was flying around thanks to the store manager agreeing to use it for this occasion. Jason and Tim stood at the frozen food section, Dick and Damian were all the way over at the fruits and vegetables. Next to it was a slightly smaller screen with two similar lists and a point score

"Are both teams ready? On the screen we have the list that each team will be required to bring! The first team to have everything in their cart and bought will be the winners and have a whole month of free products from us!"

The crowd cheered as they wondered who from the Wayne boys would win. People started placing bets on the one they suspected would walk away victorious. Others opened their cameras and began a live video. One person in particular who the Bat boys knew had been visiting Gotham and couldn't help the smirk on their face as they opened a private channel to a certain group of individuals

Dick and Damian
"Since we're in the fruits and vegetables area, it only makes sense we start here" Dick says as Damian rolls his eyes at obvious, but nods nonetheless "Which do you prefer to tackle? Fruits or vegetables?"

"I prefer the vegetables" Damian tells him. Let's say the last time he tried fruits he was lost as to why there were so many brands of the same fruit

"Once we finish here, we gotta be prepared for the next half. We'll conquer more ground if we split up the tasks in each section" Dick serious says with Damian agreeing to the plan, having had a similar idea forming in his mind. Even if Dick had been against this idea, he had no desire to lose and knew Damian didn't either
