The Joys of a Lockdown Christmas

Summary: It's time for the Wayne Family Secret Santa gift exchange tradition! Who is who's Secret Santa and what gift will they all get?

2 weeks before Christmas
Bruce sighed. Since Damian joined the family, the tradition of the Wayne Family Secret Santa gift exchange was something they had started doing

"How long does it take for Tim to finish an online meeting with his team?" Jason asked as he flipped a page from the newest book he was reading from

"Last I checked, their was fighting and yelling involved" Dick answered with a sigh

After a few moments, Tim finally came down with an annoyed expression and sat down with crossed arms. Clearly whatever happened did not go well and slowly Jason and Bruce moved away from the teen

Alfred soon came with a hat and a cup of coffee which he offered to Tim, as the third Robin took the cup eagerly and sighed at the warm taste "You know the rules, everyone must be outside while choosing a name. Master Damian will go first this time"

With that, everyone went and soon it was Bruce's turn as he opened his folded paper and saw the name written;

Tim Drake

Knowing Tim, Bruce would think the boy would mostly likely want something to do with coffee or technology. However, this year he wanted to do something different and decided to put more effort into the gift he was getting Tim this time around

Meanwhile Damian was staring at the name written on his paper and glared at it. He needed to be smart about this and spy on what they liked the most

Dick on the other hand was happy with the name he had gotten as he had already made a list for what he would get each person as he pulled out said list and looked for the name that he had gotten

Jason however, rolled his eyes at who he had gotten and grabbed his phone as he texted Roy for any ideas that he might have

Lastly Tim wanted to hit himself. He had probably gotten the toughest person possible to find a gift for and sighed at what he knew was most likely to get him in trouble should someone see him

Christmas Day
It was finally Christmas as Dick launched out of his bed and ran towards the room across from him

"Timmy! Wake up, it's Christmas!" Dick eagerly said as Tim used the covers to hide himself

"5 more minutes Dick" Tim grumbled, but sighed as he felt the covers come off and knew he should probably just get up before Dick returned as he could hear the first Robin waking up Jason, judging from the argument happened between the two

Not wishing to be in the receiving end, Tim made his way downstairs and saw Bruce and Alfred already down there. They were probably smart enough to set their alarms early to not get a wake-up call from Dick as Tim sat down and grabbed a piece of toast and poured some coffee as they waited for the rest

Jason soon trailed on down, his hair all wild as he made his way towards his seat on autopilot and Tim had to jolt him awake before he fell face first into a pile of cereal which he had grabbed

Finally, Dick and Damian appeared as the two took their seats and grabbed what they wanted as everyone ate in silence, probably saving either energy for the gift exchange

Once down, Dick was the first out of his seat and moved in a speed that would make Flash cry as the others found the eldest Robin with a gift in his hands

As they all took a seat in the living room, Dick was suddenly at Damian's side and presented the gift towards the youngest "Merry Christmas Dami! I hope you like it... it wasn't easy to get this and I had to ask for a lot of favors"

Grabbing the gift presented, Damian's eyes suddenly widened at the katana inside. It was the katana had been searching for weeks online and now here he had it, held in his hands

"Thank you, Grayson... although I have no idea how you came to find the legendary katana, you have my thanks" Damian said with a small smile as Dick beamed at that and had to remember to thank the Titans in their help with finding said katana... who would've known it was actually real?

Seeing no one else stand up, Tim moved from his seat and grabbed his gift as he held it out to Alfred with a slight sheepish look present "I hope it's to your liking Alfred... you're not the easiest when it comes to gift giving"

Opening the box, Alfred had a smile on his face as he saw the heart shaped locket with a picture of the boys and Bruce. He took hold of the chain and wrapped it around his neck and faced Tim "Thank you Master Timothy, it must have cost a lot of money and I will cherish it greatly"

Smiling that Alfred seemed to like his gift, Tim sat back down and saw as Jason moved towards Bruce with a small box of his own "Merry Christmas Bruce" was what he said as Bruce took hold of the box and looked genuinely surprised by what was inside as he held out the item and everyone looked confused when they saw a watch

"Is this..." Bruce said trailing off as Jason nodded

"I saw it sitting getting dust everywhere and decided to get it fixed. Roy was a big help with the mechanics and all" Jason said, not looking at anyone in the eye

Bruce said nothing as he slowly pulled Jason into a hug, with Jason soon hugging back after a moment

Damian took the moment to grab his gift and as soon as the second eldest sat back down, did he find a gift being held out towards him. Slowly taking a hold of it, Jason could see the look Damian was giving him as he opened the box

Inside were various classical book that he had been wanting to get for a long time, some even in a different language as Jason looked on surprise to even see a small notebook included. Further down, he noticed a few manga books and turned towards Tim, knowing that it was probably him who told Damian about wanting to read some of those

"I sat how much you seem to enjoy literature and saw a couple of classics on your list of books you wanted to read. The notebook is so if you wish, to take down notes about these book" Damian stated, not mentioning about where he got the idea for the manga, but that was fine

"Damian... thank you" Jason said sincerely as he took out the first book and soon started to read it as he was even seen taking down some notes. Damian seeing this, nodded quite pleased with the reaction as he took a seat once more

Alfred was next as he held out a gift towards Dick, who took it and without hesitating, opened the box up. He saw a couple of tickets to Haly's Circus, with Alfred explaining that it was time for the whole family to go together and see Dick's former home. At this Dick was close to bursting into tears as he hugged Alfred tightly

Lastly was Bruce as he held out the gift towards Tim. Taking the gift, the third Robin slowly opened it up as his eyes lid up "An instant coffee machine! I've dying to get one of these!"

If this was an anime, then Bruce would be sweat dropping at the enthusiasm from Tim. He had to admit, that maybe would have been better to get him a new laptop instead since the teen literally ran upstairs to install the coffee marker

"Merry Christmas" Bruce said with a small smile as he looked at each and everyone of the boys and Alfred. This was his family and although the tradition could be annoying, he wouldn't trade it

Author's Note: Alright I was originally gonna post another chapter, but decided on making it Christmas themed since I did a Halloween one and all. On another note, it's my birthday today! Anyway happy holidays everyone and Merry Christmas if you celebrate it :)
