How did you find out about wattpad?
1. Someone on twitter posted a link to a fanfic a few years ago and I was very curious and then started reading a lot more!

At what age did you start to take an interest in writing?
2) Oh man, I was very young. I've always had a really vivid imagination and I would always make up stories. When I was about 9 I wrote my first "novel" but it was really only 10 pages long and definitely not the greatest piece of literature. But I've always been interested in writing since I was very little.

Do you feel pressure to update due to the amount of readers you have?
3) Sort of, but I know my readers know that I have a life as well and wouldn't get upset if I was slow with updates (which I'm usually not). I usually put the most pressure on myself because I want to write more and see where the story unfolds.

Who would you say is your biggest inspiration?
4) My biggest inspiration is probably my creative writing teacher, not really someone famous. Of course there are many authors I look up to, but she is the one who always makes me want to be a better writer.

Do you have a favorite out of the books you've written?
5) Yes, I think Afraid is my favorite book because it is so unique to anything I've ever read. I have a strong connection to those characters and think they are easy to relate to.

What is the greatest challenge you face as a writer?
6) My greatest challenge is making filler chapters that are still somewhat valuable to the story. I always plan out the big events first but it's hard for me to write the less dramatic chapters.

How has writing affected your life?
7) Writing has affected my life by giving me the ability to express myself. It makes me think sooo much more about relationships and the world and everyday objects. It also allows me to have a voice and impact people, which is something I really enjoy.

How do you cope with your up and coming popularity?
8) It's a little crazy for me, to be honest. I don't know why this many people want to follow me or read my works, but I really appreciate it. I think people often forget that each reader isn't just a number, it's an actual person so I always try my best to message people back or reply to comments. Also, now that I have a following, I try to spread my wisdom and opinions and offer support for anyone who needs it. I think I need to use the popularity for good as opposed to turning cocky.

Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
9) Write what you want to read!!! If you don't like what you're writing, then chances are no one else is going to like it either. Writing gets easier with practice so always keep writing and make sure you educate yourself on grammar rules and new words as well. As for writing on Wattpad, before you publish a book you should have at least 7-10 chapters written. It will make your life so much easier when you start updating, because having those first chapters perfected and not rushed make such a difference in gaining reads and leaving a good first impression.

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans/supporters?
10) Thank you all so much for taking time out of your lives to not only reading my works, but also reading this interview! I love you all so much and it means the world to me that you support me. I hope you all try out some writing of your own or you find a good story to read. Either way, I hope you have fun. Thank you soo much for all you've done :)

I would like to thank sugarplumluke for answering the questions! I definitely recommend her stories to anyone :)
