Interview with @paramuke

1) What first inspired you to start writing (and at what age did you start)?

- im not really sure what inspired me to start writing, ive just always liked it. i always remember writing - i would write lil short stories in my notebook about like wizaRDS and stuff omg idk??? but i think i started to write truly in about 4th grade

2) What challenges do you face as a writer?

- the biggEST challenge ever is like, getting through writers block!! its terrible i sweat oh my god because like you know what you wanna write, and you have it all planned out in your head, and when it comes time to put the pen to paper its like nothing comes to you. its a challenge for me, sometimes i stuggle to get through it, i admit.

3) Who is your biggest inspiration as a writer?

- THIS MAY SOUND SO LAME OH MY GOd but someone who rly inspired me was my 4th grade teacher. she influenced my writing a lot, and she kept me going. she always complimented my work and could tell me how to improve. she even kept my journal that i wrote all my stories in to read to her students to come, because she loved my writing so much. it really inspired me, and kept me going as a writer. but other than that, rainbow rowell is a huge inspiration to me.

4) Do you have any plans or goals for the new year?

- i havent really thought about it, but i wanna have more self confidence. its always something i struggled with but im hoping to get through it and just be more confident. other than that, run more often, focus more on school, and also writing, and meet luke bECAUSE THAT STILL HASNT HAPPENED AND ALL I WANT IS A HUG FROM HI

5) How has writing affected your life?

- writing has affected my life in sososo many ways. it makes me happier, it lets me get everything out. lets me express myself. its a huge part of my life.

6) Do you think in the future you'll pursue writing as a career?

- i hope so. thats my #1 goal in life, right now. even if i cant become like a novel writer or whatever, i would like to do something with writing (if my career as an alternative singer doesnt work out tru)

7) How did you discover wattpad?

- im not exactly sure. i found it a couple years back, but i never made an account. and then marykate (my bff) (shes @CLIFFORD99 on here) wrote 5sos fics on here and i wanted to read them, so i made an account. and then i wanted to write somemyself, and here i am now. (marykate if u see this im so thankful that u made me get wattpad uve changed my life i love u so much)

8) How did you become so popular on wattpad?

- EVERYONE ASKS ME THIS AND I HAVE NO IDEA ONE DAY I JUST WOKE UP AND PEOPLE STARTED LIKING MY STORIES AND NOTICING ME AND FOLLOWING ME AND I WAS LIKE ?????? im just a 14 year old from nj who loves luke hemmings welp

9) Due to all of your readers, do you ever feel pressured to change anything in your writing to please them?

- for the most part, no. i like to stay true to myself. sure, sometimes im pressured to update since i have readers, but never to change anything about my writing. i just write what come to me.

10) Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?

- write what you feel. write what you know about. write about anything and everything. most importantly, just be you. stay true to yourself, always.

11) Is there anything else you would like to say to your supporters?

- thank you all so much for sticking with me, i never expected to get this far in my writings, or anywhere at all. i love you all more than you can imagine, you make me so so happy. stay cool x
